How to spot a bike mechanic on crutches! Bar tape and bottle cage is making life a bit easier! So one week on from surgery and I am making progress starting to get a bit more mobility. Don’t worry, I’ll be back to my work in no time! I think I’ll start with a couple of sets of wheel builds I have scheduled. As I can do most of this without the use of 2 legs 😄

I would say that this is a dream build! I have built it from the ground up wheels and all. It is one I have built for a very good friend and there is nothing about this I would have done differently if I was building it for my self. It was difficult sourcing some parts and the only compromise was a wolftooth road link with a 105 rear mech rather than the it was meant to have. But what a bike! Hopefully will be happy running alongside such a beautiful bike! Also probably my last bit of work for a while, before my big operation. Don’t worry I’ll be back up and running in no time 👍🏼

Another hope wheel build. I am very happy with how they turned out! Hope hubs make for a really nice reliable wheel set. And they make a good noise 😉 oh! and the bike had a cheeky little service to 👌🏻

I absolutely love this bike! Today it has been treated to a little upgrade to make it a bit more Chiltern compatible! Going from a 11t-30t to a 11t-34t cassette and new chain and rear derailleur to match👌🏻

This was a much needed service, Resolving a few problems along the way! The winter is not kind on bikes!

Tubless upgrade!! New wheels and tyres to reduce pesky punctures, improve grip and comfort, and reduce rolling resistance! It’s all win

I can’t tell you how much I love build wheels with hubs! I built these on to a set of kore rims that came of the original spec, and I have to say they are really nice!

This bike was “Fixed” at another bike fixing establishment but the customer found a couple of things didn’t feel quite right. See if you can workout the before and after pictures.

Keeping on top of the maintenance! These two have been serviced with new pads in the back brake of the Camber and new chain and cassette on the , that will keep them rolling for years to come 🤙🏻

This Tral weapon has had a new drive-train and a rear hub service.
Hope hubs are so reliable and properly made even when full of crap you just de-grease and press some new bearings and they are as good as new 👌🏻 @ Penn, Buckinghamshire

Replaced the callipers, cleaned the drivetrain, new bar tape topped up the tubless sealant and a service. This bike feels like new again! And what a plush ride! @ Penn, Buckinghamshire

This wilier was in for a Standard service with a new chain and cassette. However the right hand shifter had snapped a pawl! So with a new shifter assembly and a bit of fiddling later it was back in tip top condition. What a great bike @ Harefield
