Thank you for stepping forward and sharing your journey. Your insights will be incredibly helpful to others walking a similar path and considering sharing their practice with me. π«
1-2-1 (one-to-one) yoga is highly beneficial because it provides a completely personalised practice tailored to your exact needs, body type, and goals. Unlike group classes, private sessions offer customised adjustments, focused attention on injuries or limitations, and flexible scheduling.

ONE STEP AT A TIME
Is our theme on Thursday for Hot Deeper Flow The Yoga Shed..
Our class will centre on mindfulness, breaking down complex postures into manageable, incremental movements, and finding joy in the present.
A reminder to us students that yoga, like life, is an ongoing journey. Itβs not about achieving the βperfectβ pose, but rather how we consciously move our bodies and minds incrementally.

Quinn I have literally NO WORDS π You've aged me by twenty years since your arrival π BUT you make me belly laugh, lose my mind several times a DAY, That's quite a skill. I really could not be prouder of your passion for sport. And let's face it, if you weren't running around it would have added another ten years to my age π
Keep going! I see a budding football journey ahead of you β½β½ but remember little old me!!

Food is literally good for the heart β₯οΈ
It is said that people who practice yoga and are mindful eaters are more in tune with their bodies?!
I believe I am. Yoga helps me to curb emotional eating by taking a pause to breathe through uncomfortable sensations rather than seeking quick fixes and slows down the feeling to overindulge. I approach food with love and enjoyment, but most importantly to fuel my body with nourishment and explore as much delicious food as I possibly can.
π« The Yoga of Eating, a few tips from me β₯οΈ
π« Try to bring the same presence you have on the mat to your dining table. Put away distractions, notice the colors and textures of your food.
π« Eat with intention: Focus on foods that nourish your body rather than eating mindlessly.
π« Be present: Chew slowly, savour every bite, and eliminate distractions like screens or phones.
π« Listen to your body: Notice when you are naturally full and stop before you feel uncomfortably heavy.
Yoga is not just on the mat,
Yogic nutrition focuses on Sattvic (pure and balanced) foods to promote mental clarity, steady energy, and easy digestion.

True yoga is not about the shape of my body, but the shape of my life. When I practice yoga it's not to perform; it's so I'm free to live. Yoga doesnβt care about where I have been; it cares about the person I am becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.
Yoga is my self discovery. π«
Yoga allows me to really exhale π«

Creativity and the others strings to our bows π«
There was a time I did lots of this! I made cakes, all different cakes!!
I learned sugar paste as a craft, and then also developed my skills to learn how to make french macarons. (can you spot any you recognise or ordered maybe?!)
I'm acutely aware that it is easy to be pigeonholed into one space. As part of our journey's we hold so much value in the diversity of what has already been, let alone what is yet to come?!
I often consider dipping my toe back in ( no not yet, I'm not taking orders π€£)
Have you any skills you'd like to pick up again?! Or is there a hobby you adore that gives you thst little bit extra?!

It's all a out balance, no?!
Finding the sweet spot in any situation is what keeps things manageable, whether you are trying to divide your time between work and life.
For me, balance in life isn't about perfectly dividing your hours, but more about managing boundaries, making intentional choices, and doing what matters most to you.
You can do anything, but not everything." β David Allen

βοΈ Men
ποΈ Yoga
π§ Mental Health
I've noticedΒ an increase in the number of men signing up to classes.
When I speak to them, some of them are realising how a body-mind practice opens them up to a new experience of life.
Predominantly women form the larger numbers in the classes I hold. Many men ( typically friends) perceive yoga as a feminine activity: too gentle, not competitive, and misaligned with traditional masculinity.
But this is all surface, once we dig deeper and get involved it becomes perfectly clear anyone can participate and reap the many benefits. Attitudes are changing as many more men are taking up yoga and realising the broader benefits that a breath-body-mind practice can bring. Everyone needs, and deserves, the opportunity to relax, focus, develop mobility and strength plus much more.
π« I received a wonderful review from a yoga student I wanted to share with you all :
"Building this one habit has helped me 10x my productivity as an Entrepreneur. Over the years, Iβve realised that success isnβt just about working hard, itβs about working smart. And to do that, your mind and body need to be in sync. For me, yoga has been a game-changer. What started as a simple experiment turned into an anchor in my daily routine, and I can confidently say itβs one of the best investments Iβve ever made in myself.
Thank you Jayde!
βοΈ If youβve ever felt overwhelmed, stretched thin, or just burnt out, it might just offer you the mental health support you didn't know you needed.
Small habits like these can lead to big changes, not just for your work or business, but for your life!!
