Calling all budding footballers in Holmes Chapel and surrounding areas! The Hurricanes Soccer School is looking for enthusiastic new players to join our growing community. We have exciting places available in two specific classes starting this Saturday!

Available Places:

Reception Class: Perfect for youngsters just starting their football journey! 🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Girls Class (Years 1 & 2): Specifically designed for girls to learn and develop in a supportive environment. 🚺👟

Our soccer school is about much more than just goals. We focus on holistically developing young players in a fun and engaging way.

Old Football Kit clogging up your drawers? Better to go to a good cause!

As a former team manager and parent of two teenage players, I know how you can end up with lots of old kit. In an attempt to put it to good use, I recently investigated charities that collect kit and pass it on to worthy causes overseas.

I am therefore collecting old kits to send to “Kit Aid “ – a registered charity (https://kitaid.net/).

They will take any kit incl boots as along as it is clean, and in good useable condition.

If you have any kit that you wish to get rid of and are happy to donate, then please contact me

⚽ BIG THANK YOU TO OUR LOCAL PARTNERS & CONTRACTORS!

🙌We’d like to say a massive thank you to three fantastic local organisations for helping keep our pitches in top shape!

For 10 years, HCCS, the school that over 15% of our 650+ players attend, have generously given free use of their 4 grass pitches.

To support the pitches during the May half-term:

⏳ Sibelco kindly donated 200 tonnes of top-dressing sand from Rudheath quarry to boost pitch drainage.

🚛 RG & ME Street and Son Ltd (Cranage) generously provided free haulage to transport it to HCCS!

🚜 Local Pitch Contractor: The club invested £2,500 to have a local contractor verti-drain and spread the sand across all 4 pitches—a job that would have cost significantly more without the free sand and transport!

Pre season has started, training on Tuesdays 7pm - 8pm at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School.

Winners, Winners, Chicken Dinners!

A huge congratulations to our U14 Blacks (2025-26) on their superb tournament win at the Greater Manchester Cup last Saturday!

Unbeaten on the day and without conceding a single goal, the lads went into the final against Shawside Juniors in confident mood, and sure enough emerged at 2-0 victors to collect the cup.

A massive well done to the lads, coaches and supporters - you all represented the Club superbly both on and off the field!
