Another fun filled outdoor Summer Course! 🥋☀️

Lots of learning, teamwork and, of course, plenty of fun! It was lovely to see everyone bonding so well, supporting one another and looking out for each other throughout the course. A huge well done to Aashni, Theo and Poppy for placing in both Kata and Kumite fantastic achievement! 👏

An extra special well done to Poppy, who was awarded Student of the Course! Your determination, effort and teamwork really stood out, especially the way you looked out for and supported our younger students.

Our 2x World Silver Medallist! 🥈🥈

A massive congratulations to Kayal, who has won TWO World Championship silver medals at this year’s WUKF World Championships in Romania! 🇷🇴

Kayal took silver in both Team Sanbon Kumite and Team Rotation Kumite, alongside her Karate England teammates Zoe and Stevie. An even more incredible achievement when you consider that both Kayal and Zoe are only 17 years old, yet were competing in the 18-20 year old category against older, more experienced athletes!

A massive thank you to UKA Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Great Dunmow for coaching and the rest of Karate England for your support.

Kayal, you’ve worked so hard for this and continue to set an incredible example for the next generation. We couldn’t be prouder!

A successful day at the British Open Championships yesterday!

We took a larger squad, with the majority experiencing their first bigger competition. Despite some understandable nerves, everyone stepped up, showed great courage and delivered some brilliant performances. There was so much learned and gained from the experience, which will undoubtedly help their future development. Well done to everyone who competed, you should all be very proud of yourselves!

A massive well done to all of the students who competed at our annual one day training course yesterday! It’s our favourite time of year when all of our clubs come together for a day of training, learning and fun.

It’s so beneficial and important to step outside of your comfort zone and train with different instructors and students, and everyone did an amazing job throughout the day.

A special mention goes to Aashni, who worked extra hard as always and showed incredible determination all day long. Her attitude and effort earned her the well deserved title of Student of the Day! 👏🥋

A massive well done to on being upgraded to 3rd Dan. It is incredibly well deserved! Your dedication, hard work, and everything you do for Kaichou Kai never goes unnoticed. A fantastic achievement! 💪🏼
