As you may be aware Melissa has qualified for the final of the Coca-Cola PGA Assistants Championship after a fantastic performance at the qualifying event at Bury Golf Club last Wednesday. She takes her place as one of only three lady professionals in a field of 144 golfers!
The Championship will take place at Farleigh Golf Club in Surrey and will be played over 54 holes (cut after two rounds) between the 25th and 27th July.
As I am sure you can appreciate, there will be a significant financial cost to playing the event and we want to help support Melissa with covering her expenses. As such, we will be raffling off the Professionals parking space, with all money raised going to help Melissa in the event.
Any excess funds will go towards the Meltham Junior section.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased from the Pro Shop for £5 each.
We hope you will help us support Melissa in this event and we wish her all the best of luck!

The newly refurbished indoor swing studio was officially opened by none other than DP World Tour winner Dan Bradbury on Tuesday the 28th of February. The studio is now fully operational, providing a year round facility for coaching, custom fitting, gapping sessions as well as course simulation using the industry leading Foresight Sports GCQuad.
Meltham Golf Club would like to thank Dan for taking time out from his busy schedule to come and visit the club, and we wish him well for the remainder of the season. As well as having secured his playing rights on Europe's major golf tour, Dan has already qualified to play in this year's Open Championship being played at Royal Liverpool Golf Club in July by virtue of his life changing victory in the Joburg Open in November. Hopefully many members can make the short trip across the pennines to support Dan in his quest for the claret jug.
