This week sees the 1XI take the trip to Cumberworth whilst the 2XI host Shepley CC.

Whilst the 2XI play the Oak will be hosting Ladies Day within the club. Hope all have a good day!

As our season comes to an end, we just wanted say a HUGE thank you to all the incredible parents for making our 2026 Girls team such a success- bringing them to training/festivals and cheering on our whole team! To Ben and the team at Sixes for their weekly training sessions and great facilities! To Gav for all his wonderful involvement this year- coach, umpire and alll round top cricket extraordinaire (we simple couldn’t have done it without him!) To our pro Henco for stepping in as our second umpire on several occasions with excellent advice and enthusiasm. But most importantly to our fabulous girls for being such a fun, polite, cricket-loving bunch ❤️ their progress has been astounding and as a club we are so proud of them! We are raising funds to provide changing and showering facilities for Women and girls to play cricket at our club.

Cricket is becoming popular with girls at our club. The passion is there, what’s missing is the space and facilities at Broad Oak.

Without suitable facilities Women and Girls are being held back from fully taking part, not because of ability, but because the environment wasn’t built with them in mind. This is what we are going to change.

Your support will help us create a safe welcoming, fully equipped space where Girls and Women can;

Get involved in cricket from a young age

Build Friendships that last a lifetime

Grow confidence, resilience and leadership skills

Feel part of a team, a community and a future they belong in

This weekend sees the first team take on Slaithwaite at home as the 2XI take the trip to Edgerton & Dalton CC

Bar open from 12 and there will be a BBQ running at the Oak. 🍖 🥩

🏏 JUNIOR FINALS DAY 🏆

This Sunday sees our u13s take part in the Salver Cup finals day held at Skelmanthorpe cricket club.

Starting at 9.30am we take on Denby Dale with the winners going through to the final.
