Looking back on my first season for 9 years. Decent season for Golcar Cricket Club, on and off the field. Loved coaching, lots of potential at the club and a return for the Royal Navy Cricket Club for the Legends at Wormsley. Massive thanks to Mike World Class Willow for the kit. Absolute quality. Here’s to next year, hopefully 💪🏻

Great effort by a couple of brothers. Working on posture at address, balance and head position being more consistent during shot making. Still areas to improve, but greatly improved.

Some bowling sessions. Looking at keeping more upright and not collapsing, opening up the hips and limiting the front leg crossing over. Secondly working on a higher arm action and less rounding for more accuracy. Batting session was ensuring that rear elbow doesn’t hinder accessing the ball when playing shots,
Something very common in younger cricketers. Good session and improvements made. Well done lads👍🏻

Working with a good young cricketer. Giving feedback post net session on his setup, how he is currently playing different shots and areas to work on with a visual reference. Important to have references for feel vs real during play. Also important to be mindful of outcome. Might not be MCC, Ian Bell text book, but gets results

Great weekend coaching with Golcar CC Juniors. Enthusiastic turn out and great to see young people taking up the game 💪🏻
First session done. Player had good base skills, good understanding and feedback to questioning. Hopefully look forward to seeing some progress and take this into the season.
