I keep telling you how good our Friday Tumble Tots venue is…but I don’t think I’ve actually shown you properly.
Because when you’re taking a toddler to a class, it’s not just about the class, is it?
Can I park easily?
Is there somewhere for a coffee?
Can we make a morning of it?
Well… yes, yes and yes.
We’ve got loads of parking, a café, a playground for afterwards, lovely venue staff — and look at the size of the room we get to play in. And it’s really easy to get to — you definitely don’t need to live in Stocksbridge. And then, of course, there’s Tumble Tots.

What a busy first couple of weeks back!
It’s been so lovely seeing everyone in classes…and, as always in September, I seem to have spent a lot of time saying “Oh my goodness, haven’t you got tall!”
These first couple of weeks have really been about getting back to basics.
So whether your child has bounced straight back in, is still finding their feet, or is taking a little longer to work out what this Tumble Tots business is all about…they’re doing just fine.
It’s lovely to have you in classes.

One thing I’ve learnt, both as a parent and through years of working with children, is that confidence isn’t something we either have or we don’t.
Confidence is a muscle.
We have to work at it.
At Tumble Tots we don’t need children to get everything right. We want them to feel safe enough to try, to get it wrong, to try again; To experience that wonderful moment when “I can’t” eventually becomes “I did it!”
We don’t need to make our children confident overnight. We just need to keep giving them opportunities to exercise the confidence muscle.
And I’ll see you next week, ready to start exercising it again. 💛
