What an amazing festival for u10s tonight. Massive thanks to Bransholme Bears for coming down with 14 players as Cott were unable to attend. So with the loaning and swapping of some of our boys we managed to have two great games of 9 a side rugby. All the kids played great and both games were fantastic to watch.
Well Done to all the kids tonight a great effort by all. 🟢⚪️ xx

Tonight saw us catch up a fixture with Hull Wyke u10s. A couple of great tense physical games, with some fab rugby on display. Well done to all kids tonight 👏🏻.

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH

🟢⚪️JACOB🟢⚪️
Jacob showed real strength, grit, and skill tonight and was certainly top of his game. He lead by example and was pure class! Full team helping him play the way he did.

🟢⚪️FREDDIE🟢⚪️
Freddie playing in the middle tonight, showing aggressiveness in attack and defence not taking a backwards step against some big lads. He made some great one on one tackles and ran the ball hard and direct.

🟢⚪️JAMES🟢⚪️
Jam played in a unfamiliar position for him tonight but didn't look out of place. He showed some great link play with his ball handling and taking control in attack. He scored some great tries too.

Great work everyone. 🟢⚪️👍.

A great festival tonight at Eastmount against Lambwath. Well Done to all players - there was some great rugby played In wet and cold conditions, something we haven’t been use to for a while ☔️.

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH

🟢⚪️JACOB & CHARLIE🟢⚪️
I asked them both at training to be team players and organisers, tonight showed their true class, always looking for options and moving the team around. Both was solid in defence for their sides.

🟢⚪️ROBBIE🟢⚪️
Was a non stop tackle machine in the middle and worked really hard in defence and leading from the middle. In attack he's worked on playing more from the rook and linked up well with his pack which lead to some great tries.

🟢⚪️RONNIE🟢⚪️
Ronnie played his socks off tonight, got us well needed metres and worked hard in attack and defence. An all round great performance!

🟢⚪️LEVI🟢⚪️
Levi left everything on that pitch tonight. Effort was outstanding with multiple try saving tackles. Solid defence and attack.

Well Done Boys.

Thank you to all our families and friends.

Thank you to Skirlaugh for hosting a great festival tonight and giving the lads an opportunity to play 11 a side. The lads played really well as they adjusted to two extra players and a bigger pitch. Well Done everyone 👏🏻👍.

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH

🟢⚪️LEVI🟢⚪️
Levi played his position of full back really well tonight, taking some high balls. He looked dangerous in attack and his full length try was outstanding.

🟢⚪️CHARLIE🟢⚪️
Charlie did what I asked of the team in the second game. He led the team from the front in his defence doing what he does best putting some great shots on.

Thank you to everyone as usual.

xx

WOW! What an amazing gala held at Haresfinch today, some amazing rugby played by all teams involved. Massive shout out to Paddy who organised such a great day with the added extra touches for the kids to work towards 👏🏻.

Our White Team took to the field first in this mornings festivals playing 5 great games and really working hard for each other in defence and attack. Amazing Effort Boys.

DOCKERS WHITES
(Played 5 Games, Won 4 Drew 1)
Hindley Stags Blacks - 5-2
Hindley Stags Golds - 4-2
Oldham St Annes - 2-2
Rylands Sharks - 6-1
Wigan St Jude’s - 6-1

At the end of their festivals the Player of the Tournament was awarded to Apollo for his strong hard runs and great defensive work. What an amazing achievement Apollo we are all really proud of you and it was very well deserved.

They then chose 3 of our players Archie, Apollo and Archie to take part in the All Stars Game, this was chosen by the refs and the points added up everytime their names got put forward. A great way to finish the morning festivals and the kids being able to keep the All Star shirts.

Our Green Team festivals started at 2.30pm and after a slow start in the first game they soon got back to playing some great rugby.

DOCKERS GREENS
(Played 4 Games, Won 3 Lost 1)
Wigan St Judes - 1-2
Haresfinch Blacks 2-0
Ince Rose Bridge - 5-1
Wigan St Patricks - 7-0

Again two of our players Franky & Jacob were in the mix for player of the tournament with a special mention but they just missed out by a couple of votes but it’s good to see them up there competing with the rest.

The three players picked for All Stars were Franky, Jacob and Charlie.

Well done boys on working hard and getting that opportunity to play alongside some of the other kids you certainly did us all proud 💚🤍.

Fastest Player of the Race was awarded to our one and only Jack as he just went over for the winning title!

But all in all these kids have all been great they have definitely been challenged but they never gave up. It’s been a long day!

Lastly, we want to wish James a speedy recovery and we hope you’re feeling better soon mate.

Thanks to everyone for travelling down and supporting the boys as always.

Up this early on a Sunday can only mean one thing!! Another away day for our boys as we travel to Haresfinch ARFLC to take part in FINCHFEST.
A long day ahead with both our teams taking part but we know the boys will rise to the occasion and do us all proud as always.
There are some great teams going and another opportunity for us to play teams we have never played before.
So let’s all get behind the boys as we look forward to watching them out there doing what they love and having a great day out with our Dockers Famalam 💚🤍

Great night for summer rugby, cooler and a bit of rain to soften the grounds, the kids absolutely love it! Thank you to Holderness Vikings Youth for another great festival 👏🏻.

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH

🟢⚪️Levi🟢⚪️
Levi is a player that gives 100% heart and body week in week out. His never quit attitude is amazing and it shows on the pitch.
Took 1 for the team tonight.

🟢⚪️Max🟢⚪️
Max is new to our team and is very raw with this only being his second game but he has a no fear attitude, tackles anything that runs at him and runs hard. He wants to improve himself every training session and it is already really showing.
Outstanding tonight really pleased for him.

🟢⚪️Robbie🟢⚪️
Robbie was solid in defence tonight, he didn’t look who was running at him, tackling really well and using his shoulders. Great service from dummy half.

🟢⚪️James & Jack🟢⚪️
A joint one tonight for these two. A great duo on the pitch and the link between them is getting better week on week.

Another great night all around. Thank you to our parents, friends and families for the support as always and our coaches and first aider.

Well Done Everyone.
