🏏 WOMEN’S RESULTS 🏏
A brilliant way to round off the women’s first season, with plenty of improvements, individual achievements and some fantastic team performances! 👏
Sunday 23rd v Godmanchester Town CC
The women continued to show just how much their fielding is improving, with everyone backing each other up and keeping things super tight in the field. 🙌
With the bat, Upwood finished on 245, with Antonia top scoring with 8 and Dibs with 7.
The bowling was impressive, with Megan taking 1/11 and Isabella Hickman picking up 1/23. 👏

Tuesday 25th vs Newborough CC
For their final game of the season, Upwood travelled to Newborough and put on a superb batting display! 🏏🔥
There were plenty of boundaries and lots of quick singles, with several players achieving their highest scores of the season. A special mention to Tam, who hit her first ever six! 💥
Tillie top scored with 16, while Tam finished with 13.
And the brilliant bowling continued! Vic took an impressive 3/14, with Isabella Hickman taking a fantastic 1/2. There were also wickets for Lexi McDonnell and Rosie Tuffin. 🎯
Some more fantastic fielding helped stop boundaries and keep the pressure on, with Newborough restricted to 262/8.

So many brilliant individual achievements, plenty of progress and, most importantly, a fantastic team spirit throughout the season with lots of laughs and fun!
