🗓️NEXT UP: Campion (A)

Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer affecting men in the UK. Those with a family history of the disease and Black men are amongst those who face a higher risk, and can benefit from early testing.

Ilford Wanderers is partnering with Prostate Cancer Research and nurses from The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust to host a community testing day. The test is a quick blood sample that can help identify potential prostate issues early.

Event details
Date: Saturday 21 March, 10am–2pm
Location: Ilford Wanderers Rugby Football Club, IG6 3HJ
Eligibility: All men aged 40+
Cost: £12.50 (subsidised)
Results will be sent directly and confidentially to each participant, with clear guidance on what the results mean and whether further follow‑up with a GP is recommended.

🚨RUGBY AT FOREST ROAD TOMORROW🚨

Make sure to get down to Forest Road tomorrow as Ilford welcomes Rochford.

With 9 minutes to go, the Wanderers let slip a 22-17 lead. Great game of rugby under the lights on Friday, but unfortunately Ilford couldn’t close out the win.

Shout out to Runwell for a competitive fixture, that has no doubt left a few sore bodies in its wake.
