Might not skip every day anymore…
Might not box 🥊 as much…
Yeah, I’m fully locked into bodybuilding right now 💪🏾🏋🏾♂️
But don’t get it twisted… the skill’s still there 😅🥊
And just because I don’t rave anymore doesn’t mean I can’t throw the headphones on, catch a vibe, and jam while skipping 🎧🔥
Some things never leave you… you just evolve.

Friday work DONE ✅
Today was about pushing the needle forward, went heavier on every single lift and felt strong throughout.
Started off with conventional deadlifts:
165kg for 2 sets of 10 — solid work.
Then moved into:• Pendulum squats (upped the weight again)• Hamstring curls• Walking lunges• Calf raises• Leg extensions
No shortcuts. No excuses. Just progression.
This is what consistency looks like — showing up, pushing a little more, and stacking wins week after week.
If you want results, you’ve got to earn them.
Have a great weekend 🙏🏾💪🏾

Normal Weight Loss vs Bodybuilding Prep 💪🏾
These two often get confused but they are very different.
Normal weight loss is about sustainability.
Eating enough to fuel your training, work, and family life.
Training 3–5 times per week, building strength, dropping body fat gradually, and still enjoying food without extremes.
This is fat loss you can maintain long-term.
Bodybuilding prep is extreme by design.
Calories are pushed very low, food choices become rigid, training volume increases, and body fat is taken to unhealthy levels — all for a short period of time to step on stage.
It’s temporary, not sustainable, and not designed for everyday life.
I’ve played many sports over the years, and now, later in life, I’m able to compete at a high level in bodybuilding.
I genuinely love the bodybuilding lifestyle and I’ve learned how to implement it within my own life and I love competing.
Now, don’t get me wrong this is easier said than done.
I still struggle at times, but at the end of the day, I know what my goals are and I stay locked in.
The mistake is when people try to diet like a bodybuilder
while living a normal life.
If your goal is to look good, feel strong, and keep the results,
you don’t need bodybuilding prep.
You need a smart, sustainable plan that fits your life.

It may be gaining season, but we’ve still got to stay lean and light on our feet 😅🔥
I normally struggle with my weight this time of year, but throwing one of my favourite cardio exercises — skipping — into my routine helps keep me in check during the bulk 💪🏾🏋🏾♂️
And of course, we had to take it back and get the tunes playing to keep me motivated 😜🎧
Let’s get it 👊🏾🔥
Just testing the waters 😅💪🏾
Managed to hit a 1 rep max of 180kg on deadlifts, not my heaviest, but considering it’s been a while, I’ll take it. Deadlifts have always been my favourite lift, so it felt good to get back into it.
I’m also running a new program, and hitting deadlifts on leg day instead of back day felt strange… but a good kind of strange 👊🏾
Just remember — the hard work starts now.
Whether you’re a fellow competitor in your off-season or someone debating whether to start exercising before the new year ….. start now.
Because when that time comes and you want to look or feel your best, you’ll wish you started today.
Let’s get it. 🔥
