​It certainly wasn't pretty, but we got the job done. After a two-week break, we made incredibly hard work of today's fixture before pulling off a sensational late comeback to win 3-2.
​The match got off to a rocky start in the 16th minute when G. De Vita inadvertently put the ball into his own net from an opposition corner. We managed to claw our way back into the game in the second half through a well-taken goal by M. Grant, only to undo our hard work by conceding another poor goal from a corner shortly after.
​With time running out, the stage was set for a dramatic finale—and a masterclass in redemption from De Vita.
​In the 87th minute, De Vita turned provider, squaring a perfect ball across the box to N. Holmes, who made no mistake in smashing it home to level the score at 2-2. Just two minutes later, De Vita produced a moment of magic, splitting the defense like Moses parting the Red Sea. His pinpoint pass found B. Macdonald, who calmly rounded the keeper and slotted home to seal a thrilling 3-2 victory.
​It was far more stressful than it needed to be, but we walk away with the win and some much-needed minutes in the legs. We build from here. Onto the next!

A heavy fixture schedule and the hangover from the weekend result looked to have caught up with us during a sluggish opening few minutes, but the boys quickly shook it off. They locked in, recaptured the brilliant form they've displayed most of the season, and rightly got us back to winning ways. Mike Grant Grabbing himself 4, Tony Miller pulling on the boots for one last swan song ( we doubt it🤣 ) and a fantastic performance from the young team in the form of Michael Miller and Kayden Hampton, both were non-stop all game, hopefully have you back as a trio for the next fixture.Oh and one last thing, we best mention that a freekick was also scored tonight but the player has asked not to be named as he doesn't want to take the limelight🤪
