It’s with great sadness that we learned of the tragic incident at the Jim Clark rally today and the passing of Dai Roberts while doing what he loved most.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with his family, friends and all those involved at the scene today.

Marshalling is a great way to get close to the action and help the Borders Competitions Jim Clark Rally run smoothly… please help if you can 👍

It’s that time again… this year’s opening round of the

All set and ready to go but not without a few surprise jobs to do like fit a new turbo on the service van 🙄

Anyone got a decent 3.9 or 4.1 ratio CWP for an atlas axle that they’d sell or swap for a 5.1 atlas CWP?

It’s that time of year again and an opportunity to see our car up close at pumpkin patch.

There are still some tickets left for sessions this weekend. It’s a great family day out and you get to@carve pumpkins when you’re home! 🎃

A quick update on yesterday’s retirements the

After we got pulled out of the stage by the recovery crew we changed the spark plugs but no change, so we trailered the car back to service to investigate further.

A spare ignition pack was tried next but still no spark, so we took the sump guard off to get in at the crank sensor. It wasn’t until we had the sensor off that Hawkeye noticed the ring gear for the crank position was completely loose, having become detached from the crank pulley.

It’s an unusual failure and not something that’s easy to spanner check pre-event.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. The damage is very minimal and easily fixed. It’s our first mechanical DNF since 2015, so we really have enjoyed a long spell of good reliability 👌

Well done to all who finished and in particular first SRC win at the snowman rally, and on their 3rd place podium finish, and to for clinching the 2024 SRC co-driver championship 🏆
