Not everyone joins the gym because they want to get absolutely peeled.

Aimee came to me wanting one thing.

To feel confident again.

She had a holiday to Lake Como booked, so she simply wanted to feel comfortable in her own skin.

When she first started, she’d barely touched the free weights section.

Like a lot of people, she wasn’t short on effort, she just didn’t have any structure or confidence in what she was doing.

On top of that, she works two jobs and genuinely has one of the busiest schedules I’ve ever seen.

Instead of trying to do everything, we focused on doing the right things consistently.

We built a routine that fit around her lifestyle, gradually built her confidence, and made sure she was getting stronger week in week out.

Fast forward to now, and the physical changes speak for themselves.

But the biggest win?

She walks into the gym knowing exactly what she’s doing, trains with confidence, and isn’t afraid of the free weights anymore.

That’s what real progress looks like.

Not finding more time.

Making the time you have count.

IN FORM ⚡️

Most people don’t fail because they don’t work hard enough.

They fail because they’re trying to force a plan into a lifestyle it was never designed for.

Today was a rest day for me.

No training. Just client check-ins, meal prep, work and getting organised for the rest of the week.

That’s exactly how I coach.

The best plan isn’t the one that looks the most impressive.

It’s the one you can actually stick to.

If you’re struggling to fit training around work, family or a busy schedule, you’re probably not the problem.

Your plan might be.

See you next Wednesday for another IN FORM. ⚡️

I’ve coached a lot of people who arrived after trying every programme under the sun.

The problem wasn’t a lack of effort.

It was never giving one plan enough time to work.

Stick with it.

Track your lifts.

Trust the process.

Save this before you switch plans again. 👊🏽

Most people don’t fail because of one bad weekend.

They fail because they never stay consistent long enough to see results.

Progress comes from what you do most of the time, not every now and then.

Vote in today’s story poll and let me know what throws you off track most. 👊🏽

Not everyone walks into the gym knowing what they’re doing.

Azim was completely new to training.

Like most beginners, he had no real direction. On top of that, one shoulder sat lower than the other, making pressing movements uncomfortable and unstable.

So we didn’t rush into lifting heavier.

We stripped it right back.

Better movement.

Better alignment.

More control.

Then we built from there.

Fast forward to today…

SB Squat - 75kg
Bench Press - 60kg
Deadlift - 80kg

The thing I’m most pleased about?

He actually weighs less now than when he started.

67kg ➝ 65kg.

The biggest difference wasn’t a magic programme or spending more time in the gym.

It was having a plan, trusting the process and sticking with it.

Every client has a different goal.

For one it’s building strength.

For another it’s improving fitness.

For someone else it’s feeling more confident in their own skin.

Progress isn’t one size fits all.

That’s why coaching shouldn’t be either. ⚡
