When circumstances prevent us flying, we take the word grounded very seriously, cutting grass (and brambles), tidying the areas around our hangars, even sorting out the Neopolitan overcrowding in Trailer Village.
It illustrates how important the ground is to flying.

Jemi went solo in the motor glider today. 📯
(It is unknown if this will have any bearing on her driving test as and when she takes it.)
You do us proud, Jemi. 😁👏✈️

One of the Vintage Kids passed his BI skills test today, and is here congratulated by Eric, a remarkably senior examiner given just what a young whippersnapper he is!
Congratulations, Graham. 📯

Seb smiles triumphantly, but not just because of his superb landing; he took off to fly 100 km for his Silver Badge, but whilst he was at it stayed in the air for over five hours and thermalled high enough that he came back with distance PLUS duration and height gain all in one, a full house.
It doesn't come much better, and we're exceedingly chuffed for him. 😁

A 15/10 smile from Stuart after his first flight, and Reggie managed something similar on the way up. 😁
A hearty welcome to our new family members. 📯

The Vintage Kids are at it again, taking a (relative) youngster up to an exceedingly chilly six and a half thousand feet. That's a very long way up in a an open T21! ❄️🥶
