⚽️ CLARK DRIVE GIRLS U12 🔴ARE RECRUITING! ⚽️

Our U12s are looking for new players to join our Tier 1, 9-a-side team!

Over the past year, our U12s have continued to produce a fantastic conveyor belt of talent, with players progressing into Next Gen programmes at clubs including Rangers F.C., Celtic F.C., Hamilton Academical F.C., Motherwell F.C. and Kilmarnock F.C.

We also have girls involved in Scottish Football Association Emerging Talent Centres and Next Gen pre-academies.

🌟 The future is bright for our girls, and we’re looking to strengthen our squad as we continue this exciting journey!

🧤 We are particularly looking for a goalkeeper to join our squad, but we are also looking for outfield players to strengthen the team.

We are looking for girls born in 2015 or 2016 who would like to be part of our team.

Yesterday we made the short trip to Kilbirnie — a team we’ve found tough to beat over the last couple of years — and asked the girls to start on the front foot and press high. After the fantastic shift they put in on Wednesday night, we knew it would be a big ask, but they dug in brilliantly. They settled more and more as the game went on, played some really good football, and kept their shape well.

That pressure paid off when Afton made a great run down the right. The keeper got her fingertips to it, but Ruby had made a brilliant back-post run and calmly slotted it home to put us 1–0 up just before the break.

The second half started much the same — good runs, sharp passing, and real confidence on the ball. Some lovely link-up play between Hannah and Leah ended with Leah getting her shot away to make it 2–0. Kilbirnie pulled one back, but the girls didn’t panic. They stuck to their passing game, kept working, and earned a corner down the right. Elise delivered a fantastic ball in, and Kianna reacted quickest to make it 3–1.

A really strong team performance from start to finish.

⚽️ U12 🔴 LEAGUE GAME ⚽️

Clark Drive U12 Reds welcomed Glasgow City Blacks down to a wet and windy Marress this morning.

The game got underway and we knew from the start it was going to be a tough fixture for the girls — and that’s exactly how it proved to be.

Both teams were committed to playing football in the right way, keeping the ball on the floor, looking to break lines and making good use of the wide areas. I’m sure it made for a great game to watch from the sidelines.

The girls left absolutely everything on the park and their effort and determination did not go unnoticed from both sets of coaches in what was an evenly contested game.

These are the games you learn the most from — the ones where you have to roll up your sleeves, dig deep and battle through a game that could have gone either way.

Eve was our captain today and gave a true captain’s performance, leading the line. Well done, Eve! 👏

⚽️ U10 🟡 LEAGUE GAME ⚽️

Hugely entertaining game over in Kilwinning this morning. Weather ended up on our side and girls started strong and stayed strong throughout. Kilwinning worked it forward lots and gave our defence plenty to deal with, making for a brilliant end-to-end game.

We kept up the pace though and netted some brilliant goals, both individual and whole team efforts.

Girls stayed switched on defensively with great positioning and cover play to stop lots of Kilwinning chances in their tracks.

Girls are really settling into the season and their positioning now, coaches particularly pleased to hear the girls eager to take the field again when they're subbed off.

Really proud of every player tonight, but mentions have to go to Isla Adams for slotting five home and Olivia Smith for some Usain Bolt level defensive runs near the end.

Big thanks to Orlaith for helping out between the sticks when we were goalie-less

What a brilliant morning at Irvine Community Sports Club as the girls hosted their first ever Fun 4s Tournament, welcoming U7 clubs from across Ayrshire! 👏

The girls were absolutely amazing — playing with a smile on their faces, showing great passing, scoring some fantastic goals and working brilliantly as a team. 🌟⚽️

They should all be so proud of themselves! Another brilliant morning and, most importantly, fantastic to see the girls having so much fun! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support them and to all the clubs who took part. 👏

⚽️ U12 🟡 LEAGUE GAME ⚽️

What a performance from the girls yesterday against Glenburn!

Their attitude, commitment and teamwork were fantastic. They listened to what we asked of them and put it into practice throughout the game.

From defence to attack, the link-up play was superb at times, with some lovely passing, getting the ball wide and some brilliant crosses into the box. 🙌🏻

A really tough choice for Player of the Match, with Ava’s crossing and Kacey’s goals both mentioned, but it was Neve who was selected for her overall contribution to the team and her goals. 👏🏻👏🏻

Our U12 🟡 kicked off their league campaign at the Maress yesterday against Crosshouse.

The girls were excellent playing their first competitive 9 aside game, they kept their shape used the ball well and worked hard for each other scoring some very good individual and team goals.
