We are very proud to be sponsoring Kelsa, of Ardeer Thistle Girls U12’s on her journey to FlamingoLand with her team and for the remainder of the season.
The whole team know her well, Kelsa is a fun loving, caring and kind little soul that just loves having a ball at her feet.
She is a great supporter of ours and an asset to us, she goes above and beyond for us at every opportunity. Whether we are training or playing, if she's not at football herself, she's there. Not just to show support at the sidelines but she'll come and make sure everything is in order before and after our sessions and games. No matter if it's carrying heavy loads of water & kits etc, setting out and collecting cones, moving goals, helping injured players or giving the place a spruce up before people arrive, she's there at every turn.

πŸ™Œ Go Kelsa πŸ™Œ

Yesterday saw our 1st ever 11-a-side game against a great bunch of people, The Kickabout Aberdeen - TKA. They set their alarms nice and early to make their way down to Ardrossan for what was set to be a (as we called it) a friendlier than friendly, friendly. And that's exactly what it was, from arriving to parting, both teams got on great and left with a true likeness for each other.

Safe to say their journey back to Aberdeen would have been a nice happy journey as they left with a well deserved 5-1 victory. For us, it was definitely a massive change and we handled it well. Obviously, we'd loved to have won but we have to have these results to learn from. Everyone on and off the pitch including the ref and photographer had a great game, a great day, made great memories and left feeling proud and with a bounce in their steps. Both teams bouncy steps led them all the way down the street and into the pub together which was just fantastic.
All in all, it was an absolutely fantastic day and we look forward to making the trip to Aberdeen later in the year to go again β€οΈπŸ–€

On behalf of all at Nothing But Football, VERY WELL DONE GUYS πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ and thank you to not only your team but also your family members for taking the whole day doing the round trip and for your great sportsmanship on and off the pitch. Thank you, all at TKA.

Also big thanks to the photographer for taking the time to come along, take and edit pictures and for just being involved and present. He took the time to speak to everyone before the game, making sure everyone was included and got some amazing pictures that will hold the memories for life. Thank you, Jim.

Lastly the ref, Steven Bennie, the teams were pretty happy with him. He done great and was very fair. He was 1 ref with no linesmen so yes, a couple things, ourselves and TKA agree were the wrong decision but both teams played to the refs decisions and whistle and were aware he was 1 person so again all in all, we're all fairly happy with him and will happily use him again. Thank you, Steven.
