Club de Futbol XGS players and .pereira02 represented their country 🇵🇹 this weekend at the inner city world cup tournament by Lovefootball in Manchester.

They were selected amongst some of the best Portuguese players in the UK by Pathetico Madrid F.C. manager João who also called up players from , his very own PMFC and others.

Our very own was present assisting João with squad preparations and analysis.

It was a hard fought tournament and valuable experience for everyone involved facing Sudan, Eritrea, and Iraq in the group stages before ultimately being knocked out by England in the quarter finals.

Huge well done to the boys for giving it their all on the big stage. We are incredibly proud of you guys.

The boys took to the pitch last night for a friendly, and the chemistry is already looking dangerous.

Some class goals on display, but more importantly, the fitness levels are exactly where they need to be.

This is Football Heritage ⚽

Thanks to the guys over at we had the pleasure of spending the evening at a pub in West London playing the newest football board game.

In classic Sunday league fashion we commenced the evening with only 2 of our players arriving on time ⌚

With the other 2 bringing the classics of "it was the trains fault" and "I forgot my wallet at home" probably thought they'd have to pay subs for a board game 😂

Anyway the game started off pretty neatly, with the setup being straightforward each of us began drawing staff, acquiring sponsors, setting objectives for our teams and instilling philosophies, and then came the bidding war for the players...

As you can imagine after a successful first round and being the peaceful table at the pub, typical Sunday league chaos began.

- The complaints that "my transfer budget is a joke" & "he's not adhering to financial fair play"... "where is his homegrown talent?

- Sonni kept saying go to VAR on every player (in a board game). Still waiting for stockley park to call us back. 📞

- David gave his players the hairdryer treatment, Ferguson style, and honestly the poor cardboard didn't deserve it. 😱

- Steven spent 15 minutes scouting "Pommes Frites", convinced he'd unearthed a hidden French international 🍟🇫🇷

- Flavio distracted by the ladies at the table across the room kept shushing everyone like an aura farming José Mourinho. 🤫

And somehow after 2 hours of playing and only making it past the first transfer window, one of the players club's had to enter administration, can you guess who? 😂💸

Once it became apparent nobody was going to win the evening the debate between 4-3-3 vs 3-4-3 began 👀 but it turned out 2-4-1 happy hour 🍻 had the most impact.

Overall the player cards had us feeling pure nostalgia like a game of pro evo 🎮 back in the day, with no dice involved the only gambling was if the food would arrive before the players.

We laughed, we argued, we made questionable substitutions and when the stadium lights went out (the pub closed) we left looking for the next venue to host a rematch.
