We’re delighted to announce that Whitton Lions RFC have joined the LooseHeadz Partnership Programme! 🤝

LooseHeadz are on a mission to save lives by placing a mental health champion in every rugby club worldwide, helping make mental health support a visible and normal part of rugby.

As a club, we’re incredibly proud to become a LooseHeadz partner club and support their mission to create a rugby community where nobody feels like they have to face a tough time alone.

We’ll be working to encourage more open conversations around mental health, look out for one another and make sure our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters know that it’s okay to not be okay.

Sometimes, it starts with the simplest question:

“You alright?” 💙

​Pre-season training officially kicked off yesterday, and what a session to get the wheels turning for the season ahead. Safe to say there are a few heavy legs walking around Whitton today! 😅

Now the curry cup and summer touch in Clapham has ended, it’s time for preseason to kick off!

🗓️ Every Wednesday at 7:30PM and Saturday at 10:30AM

🏉 Learn new skills, build fitness, and have a well earned beer with mates

If you haven’t dusted off the boots yet this summer (or in a few summers) now’s the perfect time to get stuck in and have a great time!

The curry cup lit up Whitton on Monday with lots of tries and some big wins! All still to play for as the competition reaches its finale this coming Monday and we crown the winner of the curry cup and our top try scorer!!

​Looking to mix up your weekend routine? We are officially launching our brand-new Saturday morning Tag Rugby sessions at Clapham Common!

​Our Monday nights have been absolutely buzzing, and now we’re bringing that same incredible energy to the weekend. Whether you want to see some familiar faces or are completely new to the club, we want you there.
