One of the most technically gifted players we have had the pleasure of working with. Whenever Elijah has the ball at his feet, you just know something special could happen. His creativity, vision and ability to unlock any opposition remind us of a young Mesut Özil. 🎩⚽️

Elijah joined GAP towards the end of his U13’s season and despite spending just a year and a half with us he quickly established himself as a player of high potential. Surrounded by a highly talented group of players in our current U15’s, his performances and technical ability consistently stood out.

We are proud to announce that Elijah has signed a two-year deal with Reading FC Academy! 🔵⚪️ Reading Football Club

This is another exciting step in his football journey and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for him. Everyone at The GAP Academy is immensely proud of his achievement. Keep working hard, stay humble and continue expressing yourself on the pitch.

A massive shout out to coach Leo⚽️ for all the work and efforts you made.

Josiah is now U14’s and has been with GAP since he was U8’s. The trials and tribulations this young man has faced throughout his journey are beyond belief, you truly had to witness it to understand just how much he has overcome.

From hearing “he’s not good enough” from numerous clubs, to now signing for Category 1 side AFC Bournemouth. 🍒 AFC Bournemouth Academy AFC Bournemouth

Josiah stayed true to the game and with incredible support from his parents, never stopped working. Consistently training four times a week through group sessions and 1-to-1s, he continued with the belief and visualisation that one day he would become an academy footballer.

Now that belief has become reality.

A journey built on resilience, consistency, hard work and never giving up.

Everyone at GAP is extremely proud of you, Josiah. We wish you nothing but the very best as you begin this next chapter of your journey. Go and enjoy it!
