Pro level Academy awards night.

A massive thank you to PLA for a great night for our boys and their families to celebrate our first season in football proudly representing Stone Dominoes FC.

It’s hard to explain just how much these boys have improved over this season thanks to the brilliant work of their coaches.

We’re already looking forward to next season as we will now be known as Pro Level U8’s Black.
We will always remember and be forever grateful to Stone Dominoes for an amazing first season in football but feel that the best way to develop our boys is to continue being part of an ever growing and improving Pro level Academy. Not just for them to improve as great little footballers but to guide them to becoming strong, confident and polite young men.

Here’s to building more amazing memories in 2026/2027.

And just like that their first season together in Saturday football is over, but wow, what a season it’s been.
They struggled at the beginning but they’ve gone from strength to strength, week to week thanks to their amazing coaches at PLA.

In our final game we played a very competitive U6 FC Hanley team who never gave up all game.
Again we played some great football and scored some cracking goals.

Managers player went to George Williams.
Cool, calm and collective but very competitive.
Chosen to captain the team for the last game and more than well deserved. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Parents player went to Albie-Jack Donnelly.
Tenacious and determined with some great organising even bagged himself a Hat-trick. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

A week later our boys took part in the City Finals competing in a very strong Beckham group.
After a nervous start they found their feet and made it to the semifinals where they lost narrowly to a very good DNA team.
Making it to the semifinal of such a competitive draw just showed how much they’ve grown as a team.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch the lads grow and gain confidence throughout the season.
Looking forward to many more.

Tomorrow is our last game of the season and what a season it’s been. Saturday mornings won’t be the same for a while.

Last weekend the boys played FC Hanley PCT.
Cracking game with loads of grit and determination and yet again some lovely football and great goals.
Our little muscle men rarely disappoint.

Managers player went to Reggie Duffy.
Strong, powerful, skilful and full of goals yet again.

Parents player went to Ted Thorley.
Little terrier all over the pitch, with some lovely composed passing.
