ENTITLED EXPECTANCY

We live in a world where expectancy creeps into our minds, making it very difficult to gather the strength, will power or commitment to attaining anything we want.

It’s just easier to expect things and come up with all the reasons why we think we are entitled to them, without dedicating any of the hard work needed to earn them.

This is a plague and it creates victims who would rather expect the things that they want and act hard done by, when these things don’t work out or come their way.

The endless stories of people who commit to gym for a week, don’t see any results and then start blaming the fact that they deserve to loose weight and be trimmer because they are eating well and have been to gym for a week. Then they start coming up with all the reasons why they deserve to be slimmer and that they are hard done because their friend who goes to gym (and does so regularly) is slim and has an athletic body.

Life is about commitment and dedicating to what you want -

‘Success is not a destination but a journey’

So the next time you want to change something in your life or want to something in your life to be different:

Come up with a plan, commit to it, don’t expect immediate results, dedicate your full effort to it (when doing it), come up with new routines and be wary of distractions that will tempt you.

‘Slow and steady wins the race’

You will only ever see the change that you want through being true to yourself and committing to what has to be done.

Michael Phelps trained every Sunday because he said that would give him 52 more days of training every year, than his competitors . That’s how badly he wanted to be the best.
What do you want in your life and how will you go about getting it???

Remember this fact 'We overestimate what we can do in a week but underestimate what we can do in a lifetime’.
