Thursday 10th July v Rose & Crown - Mundy Bois. Another spectacluar game verses our long time sponsor and local public house. As always a few local ringers were assembled by Rose & Crown and they put a good total on the board of 218 runs for Egerton to chase. 26 overs later and only 2 wickets down and a strong 164 partnership formed between Wellard and Martin lasting 18 overs to bring the Mighty Egerton home. Early drinks and BBQ were welcome by both teams. With one final T20 to go v Egerton Old Boys XI on Friday 11th July.

Wednesday 9th V KVL *All Stars* - Another beautiful day at the Egerton Pavillion with an assembled team of greats from the Kent Village Cricket Leauge, lead by Paul Hope. The All Stars put 161 on the board and despite a good chase from Egerton we finish 5 runs shy of the total.

Egerton Cricket Week - Highlights v BTF on Tuesday, great spirits from both teams enjoying the hospitality and atmosphere at the ground yesterday. Egerton batted first and putting 280runs on the board with the loss of only 2 wickets. Stirling efforts in the filed by BTF in the heat of the day and they fought back stong with the bat making the home team think we may have declared a little too early at some points but the Egerton bowling attack pinned to opposition back to a fine 235 innings all out. Some great cricket out there today with some spectacular shots played.

*Egerton Cricket week* - Highlights from our game v Sandwich Town on Monday. Perfect game to start the week right down to the last ball and wicket, with Egerton chasing down the runs to secure a win. Great opponents and set the tone for the week ahead! Something going on every day, with Bar, and Evening BBQs and Idyllic views at our lovely ground.

Egerton Cricket Week was off to a great start on Monday v Sandwich Town, the weather broke with some lovely sunshine and an excellent game down right down to the last ball and wicket for Egerton to take the win. Great sporting game and company from Sanwich to kick off the week in good spirits. - Something going on every day this week with Bar, evening BBQ and idlic views.

**Coming Soon** 2025 Egerton Cricket Week starts next Monday, come and support your local club each day with different opposition and formats, as well as the cricket we will have evening BBQs, a daily Booze Bucket Raffle and open bar at the Egerton Playing Fields and Pavillion.

***Junior Cricket Training Sessions*** Starts this weekend 4th May 2025 ready for the new season. 10:30-12pm every Sunday until the 21st July. New members first two sessions free to get involved and take part. Excellent facilites with new outdoor nets. Come and join in at Friendly village club.

Coming Soon! Winter net sessions starting from the 5th February for 10weeks open to members and non-members. Get it in the diaries and will be great to see you all in the New Year..🍾
