Our 3rd year at the Rounders England Regional Tournament…. WE’RE THROUGH TO THE NATIONAL FINALS AGAIN!! 🥳 🥳

A tough day of sun, rain and tricky matches! We battled our way through to the semi finals, coming off with a fab win and putting us in to the final 🤩

Exhausted, we went in to the final having secured our place in the National Finals in July. The amazing Silsden Smashers were worthy winners, we were more than happy with 2nd place today 💜 🦊

Huge well done to GeddingtonKites on playing their first regional tournament, you played a blinder!

It’s that time of the year again! 🎉

Tomorrow we travel to Hinckley to take part in the Rounders England Regional Tournament for the 3rd year in a row, we love this day! 🥰

In our first year we came 2nd and last year were the champions of the day, going through to the National Finals on both occasions 🥳

This year’s competition looks to be even tougher, but we’ll give it our best shot and see how we do! 💜

Our good friends GeddingtonKites are also taking part, best of luck to those lovely ladies! ❤️

Our 2nd match of the week! Tonight we travelled over to see the lovely ladies of Mawsley 🖤

After waiting for the first storm of the evening to pass, we quickly got out on to the field to get as much of the game done before we got a royal soaking 🌧️

Although the heavens opened towards the end, we had a fabulous match and were treated to a beautiful rainbow for a nice photo opportunity 🌈

Tuesday match night! ⚾️

We’re being spoilt this week with 2 matches and a tournament! 😍

Tonight we travelled over to our friends Weldon Womens Rounders Team for the 5th league match of the summer season ☀️

The balls were absolutely flying on the short ground, it certainly kept our fielders from getting cold! 😮‍💨

We had a fab game with some absolutely cracking hits from both teams. We were chuffed to come away with our next win 💜

Tonight was the night of the pitch sisters 🩵💜 it’s always a pleasure playing our neighbours from down the field 😂

A super low scoring game this evening, an absolute testament to the fielding from both teams 🙌

We were lucky enough to come away with the win, a very close call 😅

Before our match this evening against the lovely GeddingtonKites, we joined them for a minute of clapping to celebrate the life of their club mascot Millie, who sadly passed away last month 💜
We then went on to have a fun filled match full of laughter, in her honour 🥰

It was also our captain’s birthday (Nikki) so we celebrated with cakes after 😋
Lovely to see you again as always ladies, thank you for allowing us to celebrate Millie with you ❤️
