What an end to a week... today we found out that we have passed our partial accreditation in design & construction for new connections up to and including 132kV!

We already hold our full accreditation up to 33kV but by being able to offer 66kV and 132kV to our customers is very exciting for the HVSS team. We can't wait to gain our full accreditation and would like to thank everyone who has been part of making this possible!

🚲 G-Tour 21! 🚲

For the fourth year running some of the HVSS team entered the G-Tour charity bike ride which helped to contribute towards the total £9,250 raised for the chosen charities: Dementia UK, Parkinson's UK and Mind.

Congratulations to all those involved and as always we look forward to next years G-Tour!

At HVSS its really important to us to keep staff training current and up to date. Yesterday some of our staff took part in a fire safety training refresher. This was not only class room based but included a practical element, as you can see in the photos below, where staff got to use the correct fire extinguishers to put out different types of fires. Thanks to TUTS Training for delivering a great course!

Yesterday was an afternoon of socialising, burgers and cakes and what an afternoon it was!

This is the first time since Covid the whole team have been together. Through lockdown the HVSS team continued to grow but with working from home and all the restrictions it meant some team members had only ever spoken on the phone or over a video call.
Yesterday everyone got chance to socialise in the office over the best burgers, cooked by The Flavour Trailer, followed by an array of cakes and sweet treats. It was truly great to see so many smiling faces and have the office buzzing again!
