Match Report: Matchday #2 vs. Club Koyla

The match kicked off at a frantic pace, with both teams trading attacks in a relentless, end-to-end battle. Early chances came thick and fast, but both goalkeepers stood tall, pulling off crucial saves and claims to keep the deadlock intact.

The breakthrough finally came midway through the first half, but unfortunately, it went against us. Club Koyla managed to find an unmarked man at the back post, who slotted it home to make it 1-0.

Our response was immediate. Shortly after trailing, Ben delivered a picture-perfect through ball to Callum Bennett . The ball took a sharp bounce off Callum's knee, but fell perfectly into the path of Morgan Beard , who hit it first-time to draw us level at 1-1.

However, just after Club Koyla restored their lead from another corner, once again finding an unmarked man to make it 2-1.

Misfortune then struck just before the whistle; a miscommunication at the back between our fullback and goalkeeper left the keeper missing a clearance, allowing the opposition to tap it into an empty net.

The lads looked to reset in the second half, but the opposition remained clinical. A sharp cross from their winger found their striker, who guided a firm header past our keeper to extend their lead to 4-1.

Nearing the final whistle, Club Koyla put the game completely out of reach. Another dangerous ball was swung into the box, and their striker met it with a brilliant, first-time volley straight past the keeper.

Thr lads played their hearts out today and will push harder next week for the cup game.

Matchday #1 vs Kidderminster United Reserves

Cue and Brew started the match strongly, opening the scoring early when Morgan Beard converted a well-placed pass from Callum Bennett to make it 1-0.

However, the opposition quickly responded, leveling the score at 1-1 after converting from a corner kick.

Minutes later, a defensive breakdown allowed the opposition to catch our goalkeeper off his line, slotting the ball past him to claim a 2-1 lead.

Just before the halftime whistle, the opponent's striker capitalized on another defensive miscalculation outside the box, navigating around our goalkeeper to score into an empty net and extend their lead to 3-1.

The second half brought further challenges. A few minutes after the restart, the opposition's winger breached our defense and tucked the ball inside the near post to make it 4-1.

They continued to press, adding a fifth goal from a set-piece header, followed shortly by a tap-in from an unmarked attacker to bring the score to 6-1.

In the closing stages of the match, the opposition capitalised on a one-on-one situation with our goalkeeper, securing a final score of 7-1 to Kidderminster United Reserves.

While it was a difficult result, the team showed great effort and will continue to work hard to bounce back in the next fixture.

Friendly #3 vs Cleobury Mortimer Football Club

In the first half, both teams had countless chances, but every opportunity was either saved or claimed by the keepers. The first half ended 0-0.

At the start of the second half, a ball was played over the top to Morgan Beard , who took it around the keeper and put it away, making it 1-0 to us.

Not long after, Morgan was taken down in the box, giving us a penalty. Eddie Knott stepped up and slotted the ball into the bottom corner, making it 2-0.

Cleobury kept on pushing for a goal, but they were unable to convert any of their chances.

Friendly #2 vs. Areley Kings Athletico FC

During the first half, both teams battled for the opening goal to no avail. Areley eventually scored from a corner, but it was unfortunately ruled offside.

In the second half, we conceded first due to an error at the back, which allowed the ball to be put past the keeper, making it 1-0.

A couple of minutes later, Areley squared the ball across the goal for a tap-in, making it 2-0 to them.

The next goal we conceded came from a miscommunication between the keeper and the left-back, who ended up hitting it into the back of our own net, giving them a 3-0 lead.

After that, we pushed for a goal. A good long ball landed to Callum Bennett who took it around the keeper and squared it to Jamie Clarke , who tapped it in at the back post.

Unfortunately, in the dying minutes of the game, one of Areley's players went on a run through our midfield and defense, putting it past the keeper.

It was an unfortunate loss for the lads, but we have got to keep pushing and work harder.

Friendly #1 vs bushbury athletic

Game started with an unfortunate penalty within the first minute, luckly saved by the keeper but was unable to get on the rebound off the post and ended up in the back of the net making it 0-1 to them.

After, went 2 nil down when our keeper hesitated to rush out leading to them tapping in a goal

Before the second half tom had a shot on goal, it went right at the keeper but they spilt it and rolled into the back of the net making it 2-1

At the start of the second half Morgan Beard scored and absolute Worldie from kick off sending it straight over the goalkeeper making it 2-2

Shortly after followed up from a freekick from jack just outside the centre circle and sending it top bins making it 3-2

A couple minutes later our goalkeeper once again made a hesitated rush out and got lobbed from just outside of his box making it 3-3 to them

Later we conceided from a set piece being scored from an unmarked man in the box making it 4-3 to them

Finally an unlucky penalty was given away by Connor Beard and they slotted it away down the middle ending the game 5-3 to them

The lads worked as hard as the could with the heat and had so many chances which they weren't able to put away
