Shortlees vs Vixens 2

A closely contested match from the very first quarter, with both teams battling hard throughout. Shortlees managed to edge ahead in each quarter, maintaining a steady lead to secure a 49–35 win over Vixens 2.

This result brings our GNA season to a close with a 5th place finish. Considering we started as a brand new team at the beginning of the season, it’s a fantastic achievement. The growth, teamwork, and determination shown by everyone has been brilliant to see.

Spirit and Sharks played their final ANL league matches this week, finishing the season with great effort and determination.

Spirit took on Stewarton Thunder in an exciting match. Shortlees Spirit maintained their lead in every quarter, securing a fantastic 51–37 win at full time πŸ”₯

Sharks faced strong opposition in Kilwinning Galaxy, but showed resilience and commitment, working hard right up to the final whistle.

This was the last league game of the season for Stars ending on a high with another win for Shortlees πŸ”₯

There was great passages of play, lovely feeds into the circle and lots of interceptions and turn overs too. A great team performance all round πŸ‘πŸ½

Coach Chioma said β€œFantastic work, team! Winning 9 out of 11 games this season is an incredible achievement, especially as a brand new team. You have all been amazing and should all be very proud of your effort and teamwork”.πŸ”₯πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ’ͺ🏽

πŸ’œ U17s Shortlees Scorpions vs Avon Match Report πŸ’œ

This was a closely contested match throughout, with both teams battling hard in every quarter. Scorpions came out strong, winning the first quarter with great energy and teamwork. The third quarter was another highlight, with the team stepping up again to take control and show their quality. The final score was 49–48 to Avon.

Despite the result, there is so much to be proud of. The effort, determination, and teamwork on display were outstanding. Last game of the season finishing on a high, well done to every single player!

It was a great derby match between Sapphires and Spirit, with both teams showing strong teamwork throughout. The match finished with Shortlees Spirit winning 54–29. Well done to both teams for an exciting and competitive game!

Shortlees faced Bella Bullets for the second time this season last week and delivered a dominant performance. From the first whistle, the team showed excellent control, with sharp passing and strong movement. The team worked tirelessly to transition the ball, maintaining a high tempo throughout the match.

Shortlees took on Vixens 2 for the first time in what proved to be a competitive contest. Despite a closely fought game, Shortlees showed resilience and determination to come away with a 47–38 win πŸ”₯

U17 Scorpions faced a tough challenge last week as they went up against a strong G84 Pressure side.
Despite the score, the team showed determination throughout, with players continuing to battle and support each other until the final whistle.
