Two home games yesterday back to back at Lindsay Park against Ayr Boswell and Bossa for our teams 🔴⚫️
First up in the earlier ko was the match against Ayr Boswell. A great game to watch which had a bit of everything in it, including our keeper Finlay being stung by a 🐝 towards the end of the first half 🫣😬 step up our midfielder Brody who volunteered to go in goals second half until our other keeper was ready even managing to pull off a few saves 👏👏 The game was end to end, there were tackles flying in from our defenders, our midfielders chased down everything battlling all over the park, wingers were up and down the wings delivering quality balls in to the box and our striker worked tiredlessly to create chances . A great team performance rewarded by some well taken goals and much deserved result 💪
Next up was the game against Bossa which was another real battle, again our players never took a backwards step and fought for every ball. A game of few chances for either team in the first half, with our keeper Jack pulling off a brilliant one on one save to keep the game goalless and then our striker Rayden chasing down a ball in to the opponents box cutting inside and scoring a really good goal ⚽️ right on the stroke of half time 🙌
Second half the wind really picked up and it became a real test of the kids teamwork and determination, Bossa had plenty of chances aided by the wind but our players threw themselves at every shot to block it and our goalkeeper in the second half Christopher pulled off some great saves under real pressure to keep a clean sheet. A great performance by all the players involved👏👏
Well done to all the players this weekend in both games from the coaches, mon the hoose 🙌🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
