Proud to attend yesterdays match n watch every battle be won on the park, the Irvine boys took an early lead👏🏼but only made us stronger I feel, new kid Roberts with a great chance, Nohar creating 2 great chances, Connelly also making the keeper graft👌🏼 Sivewright did break the silence though with a great finish ⚽️
2nd half n the determination to amend last week was clear…. 50/50s won consistently, confidence on the ball, chances created all to a high standard🧠💪🏼 wasn’t long before The Thack ran away with this one. A tidy composed finish from Thom to make it 2-1⚽️n then a rasper🔥from Thom again to make it 3-1⚽️ game 12 completed👍🏼

These lads proving to be a thorn in the side of us East Ayrshire boys😩.
Game started well for the The Thack going 1-0 up but 1-1 at the half n then the storm came in⛈️🌊.
Kilwining boys went on a clinic👏🏼… Templetonburn FC star Percy with a free kick 30 yards oot☄️ right in the onion bag. After that tails were up, energy was up, positioning n movement from the home side was class💪🏼, where as on our side, smiles turned tae frowns n we got pumped🫣 game done🙅🏻‍♂️

🎉New Year🎉 same ol Thack 💪🏼😂… the lads start off 2026 with a win against one of the top sides in the league👌🏼.
A wet miserable day up the hills of East Ayrshire n with zero training over the festive period n playing Castlepark who are just a talented team all round it took high energy mixed with some nice play n a decent amount o luck🫣.
The away side starting sharp gettin few shots off but nothing too damaging, after 5/10 min tho the Thack lads relaxed and the best chances started to come, af the post 😩 af the bar😰 goalie saves 😠 JUST FU****N GO IN MAN!!
Finally it did with Nohar back to goal nice first touch out his feet, bang💥 right foot off post n in⚽️.
Not 5 min later Jarvie with a predator pounce 🐆on tap o the goalies fumble to slot hame⚽️2-0💪🏼.
Castle being a tap side tho grafted like f*** n got one back through their no 8 I think, either him or the 10. Both tap players👏🏼. Almost got another if not for a great save from Stewart tho.
2nd half was a slug n it took the home side tae get their chess ♟️ heeds oan n really move, cover positions, read passes of which they did perfectly🧠👌🏼.

Sad sad day for football guys😔 30 players sent up the road minutes before kick af due to a clerical error…. The away side tryin a fast one only willing to play against 9 men even though 3 outta 4 players in question were confirmed as trialists and proof was shown to ref🤷🏻‍♂️, In-fact 1 player had actually been signed 2weeks ago 😂. Not a good day when both teams sacrifice n travel on a SUNDAY!!! tae kick a baw n release some stress.
Game will go to a hearing in January where hopefully Annick will get the chance to act like real men n come to East Ayrshire n earn the 3 points as yer meant tae 🤞🏼❤️

Goals a plenty for the travelling side today, with some sexy fitba tae go alongside 😍⚽️🤩. Too many goals n scorers tae rattle af so yer gettin 1 play by play😂😂.. Jack Warnock received a beautiful pass out wide where his first touch allowed him to elegantly cross back post to the on running Thom who gracefully volleyed home ⚽️💨 boom.
Game was pretty straightforward and allowed The Thack troops to battle against their goal difference in the league💪🏼.

Trying to take the momentum from a massive win against top of the league into this one was all hunky dorey…. for first 45 anyway, but a rush of blood from our goalie saw him weaponise a football flinging it af Templetonburn fc legend “Percy” causing a straight red 🙋🏻‍♂️🛑😩. 0-0 goin into the 2nnd half and with a couple goals being disallowed it was always gonna be an up hill battle. Kilwining using their strengths well banging in a few long distance bad boys to our stand in goalie🤦🏻‍♂️. No gid.

But If there’s ever a togetherness at a community club it’s this wan. Not 2 month ago we travelled with 11 boys some pulled straight af the street n got our pants pulled down😩. But with determination, new recruits🔥, gettin rid o deed wid🏚️, puttin on midweek trainin, bla bla bla…. Fast forward n we ready tae compete.
Coach Stewart set up a hard to break doon team this weekend n it didn’t half work hiy👌🏼💪🏼.
A John Muir free kick too hot tae handle for the keeps 🤲🏼🔥⚽️1-1 and shortly after new kid on the block Josh Dillon goin hunting, takin it af the C/H n slotting hame⚽️2-1. Wasn’t long again, new signing Cameron Thom wit an awfa weapon🔫😍bang, af the post n in⚽️3-1.
AWR being the top team that they are didn’t go away n managed to get one back through a misunderstanding at the back 3-2👏🏼
For the first time this season tho us having more than 1 substitute allowed the coach to change up, bringing on McCormack n Co n then it wis keep baw time 🤩.
This wasn’t just a day fur the ducks ☔️🦆 it was a day fur the THE THACK INN FC⚽️❤️🍻
