Kilwinning Rangers U17s Festival Winners 🏆

An outstanding shift from the squad today. With injuries, holidays, and illness, we travelled with exactly 11 players, meaning every one of them played every minute of the tournament.

A few were carrying knocks from the start, but they just got on with it. In the semi-final, they put in a massive performance to knock out Scottish Cup winners, Kilwinning Rangers, and book their place in the final.

By the last game, the lack of substitutions was heavily catching up with them. They were dead on their feet by the end, but they showed serious character to see the game out and get the job done.

A brilliant display of resilience from a group that continues to deliver. Well played, lads. 🟡🔵

Training gets underway in early July, and we're inviting ambitious players to come along for a trial and see what we're all about.

Jamie joined us last season as an excellent goalkeeper, but his development over the last year has been exceptional.

Through hard work and fantastic weekly sessions with goalkeeping coach Scott McNab, Jamie has adapted brilliantly to our style of play and continues to improve every week.

Kris finished the season with an outstanding 40 competitive goals, playing a huge part in another successful year for the boys.

🏆 Goal of the Season

Congratulations to Max Oliver, sponsored by John McGeady Ltd, on winning our Goal of the Season award! ⚽👏

The winning goal came in the League Cup Final against Greengairs.

Picking the ball up outside the box, Max unleashed a superb strike that flew into the top corner, giving the goalkeeper absolutely no chance. The coaches had the perfect view from directly behind the shot and knew instantly it was a special one.

A goal worthy of winning any final, it sent us on the road to victory that day.
