Hull Dockers Under 8’S 2026 Season

Last night the children were absolutely brilliant!
They really showed just how much talent and potential this team has. For their age, the way they play and understand the game is incredible.

Even in the wet and slippery conditions, they didn’t let it phase them. The ball was being passed around the pitch, the plays were on point, and some brilliant team tries were scored. 🏉🔥

What a team! Well done, kids you should all be so proud of yourselves!

Tonight we had lower numbers at training with quite a few children away on holiday, but the children who were there really dug in and did exactly what we asked of them this week.

A special mention goes to Harrison Carver, who took home Trainer of the Week.You could really tell this week that Harrison was enjoying being at training, and he did everything that was asked of him.

Well done, Harrison, and well done to all the children who attended tonight! 💪

Yesterday, some of the team took part in the festival at Stanningley, and what a fantastic festival it was thankyou to the hosts for putting on a great festival Stanningley Rugby Club🏉👏

Some brilliant rugby was played by all the kids, and they came home unbeaten! 💪🔥

What a fantastic effort from everyone — you should all be so proud of yourselves. Well done, kids! 👏🏉

What a night of rugby at West Hull! 🏉

The kids were absolutely phenomenal Tonight!

We played some really good games of rugby against west Hull and every single one of the children put in a brilliant shift. They were all absolutely outstanding, and we couldn’t be prouder of them! 👏

It was fantastic to see them putting everything we’ve been working on in training into practice tonight. The effort, teamwork and determination from every player was brilliant to watch.

A massive well done to this week’s Players of the Match You were all brilliant and you really stood out tonight. It honestly could have gone to the whole team because everyone gave everything they had!

But a massive Well done to Alfie Pinder, Roma, Alfie Pittock!

Tonight at training, we worked on our defence moving up in lines, sticking to our channels, and trusting our teammates to do their jobs. You all worked brilliantly together tonight well done! 👏

A big well done to our trainer of the week Alfie!

Alfie can sometimes get frustrated when things don’t go his way, but tonight he kept his head down, stayed focused, and put in a brilliant performance.

Last night was a hot one as we travelled away to Skirlaugh, but the kids were outstanding.

They put on some brilliant rugby, moving the ball well, creating tries through excellent passing, and showing exactly what we’ve been working on. It was great to see some strong running, fantastic teamwork, and a solid defensive line throughout the game.

A brilliant evening of rugby all round. We’re so proud of every single one of you your hard work and commitment continue to shine through. Well done, everyone!

Our first festival as hosts last night! 🏉💚

After one team dropped out, we had to pull another team together at the last minute, which meant most of our games were against teams with two extra players.

You honestly wouldn’t have known it though. Every single one of our children was outstanding from the first whistle to the last. They never took a backward step, worked their socks off for each other, and showed exactly what this team is all about. We couldn’t be prouder of every one of them for holding their own all night.

What a fantastic night tonight! We had the Hull FC players come down and take over the training session, and the kids were absolutely brilliant.

They listened, worked hard, and picked everything up straight away. The players were really impressed and commented on what a fantastic group they are. They also said how advanced and skilful the kids are for their age, which was fantastic to hear and something they should all be incredibly proud of.

A huge well done to all the kids for your effort, attitude, and teamwork. You represented the club brilliantly!
