And that’s a wrap. Huge well done to Laura for this incredible transformation. Always putting in every bit of effort on each session. 16 lbs down from a mixture of resistance training, cardio, healthy eating whilst still enjoying her weekends. All about the balance 💪

Do what you enjoy ☺️
When it comes to exercise, you need to find something you actually enjoy because If you enjoy it, you’re definitely more likely to stick to it and consistency is key to achieving our goals.
We often get sidetracked into a ‘new method’ or ‘the new craze’ of a training programme, but at the end of the day if it’s something you’re going to hate after a few sessions, it’s not going to be sustainable.
You want to find a method where you actually think ‘I want to’ instead of ‘I have to’ and you’ll find you get a lot more results than doing something that may burn twice as many calories, but you resent doing.
Yes, exercise may be tough sometimes, but why not have some fun on the way and with the correct nutrition and exercise you actually ‘want to do’ to reach those goals 💪

Lifestyle over diet.
Too many times people are looking for that magic fix to lose weight. What if I told you that the magic fix does exist? It’s practically free and has no bad side effects. In fact it’s only side effects are increased energy, weight loss and improved sleep 😴
This magic fix is called lifestyle change.
I see it over and over when people are so focused on fast weight loss, look for a crazy diet with dangerously low calories with little benefit to your nutrition or training, torture themselves for a month to drop the fat quick only to relapse afterwards and put it all back and even sometimes more. Why? Because it’s not sustainable.
We need to adapt our lifestyles, make small changes and step by step mould our selfs to make our lives healthy yet enjoyable and something you can do in the long term, not 1 month.
Keep your treats and go to foods in (in moderation) if you enjoy the odd drinks, keep it in. Track your calories and be accountable of what you’re eating and drinking. Make small changes week by week such as adding in more training, moving more and better nutrition choices instead of doing a complete 180 over night and you’ll find you’ll adapt to it much easier.
Yes you might not lose that 1 or 2 stone in a month, but I bet you will lose a lot more overall in the year and sustain your healthier lifestyle rather than being in a viscous circle ⭕️
Skip the shortcuts and stay focused on the long term goal. You’ve got this 💪

As always, keeping it simple. Reduced calories (with some treats) 2 gym sessions a week with a couple of home workouts added too.
