Lambwath Lions Under 7’s

Last night saw the start of the rugby season and we visited Skirlaugh RL Official to join U7 girls and kingswood U7 in our first festival of the year.

Some great tries, plenty of tags got and bringing our skills into action to our games. Lots of hard work, but also lots of fun 💪

We had another brilliant training session on Saturday, preparing for the season to officially start on Tuesday🤘🦁

We had practice scoring tries, collecting tags, passing the ball and working on our speed.

We ended with a game of bull dog before an early easter treat.

What a day😎

We had an absoloute ball this morning with a friendly against Skirlaugh Girls U7 Skirlaugh RL Official 💪 some brilliant gamea, trys and plenty of tags got.

A big well done to our MOM's, Kingsley and Isaac, some brilliant hard work from you all 💪

We are buzzing with the arrival of our new training kits 💪 a big thank you to S&S glazing systems for sponsoring the under 7s, providing new kit for the team, we cant wait to show it off at training on Wednesday 5-5:45 on eastmount this coming week 😎

We love being back on the pitch 😎🦁

Another muddy week, of practising playing the ball, throwing and catching and getting our runs in, aswell as focusing on getting our opponents tags all in prep for our friendly in a couple of weeks🤞

A big well done to our trainer of the week, Kingsley, after a few weeks off, hes come back giving 100% drive and focus.

But we were buzzing to be back on the field Saturday 😎
We split in to 2 teams and started with some battles, playing the ball and choosing forfits for the opposing team🤣 we had more ball practice, worked on scoring tries (and getting VERY muddy) and had some mini games to get that practice in.

The weather meant were still unable to get on Eastmount just yet 🙄 but that still doesnt stop us, yesterday we had a brilliant session at soccer sensations- practicing our passing and catching, runs and some mini games. We ended with our favourite- a bit of Bulldog💪

Unfortunately due to the weather, all sports pitches were closer, however that didnt stop us and we teamed up with the 6's for some training and game practice.
