Something different to our usual training this Monday. We was invited down for a training match by Kingswood moonstones so both sets of girls could get that much needed competitive game time.

After a slow start for our girls they grew into the game and finished strong with some well worked goals. It also gave our new girls some experience and they showed some good things for us coaches to work on. All in all it was a good learning experience for all the girls and they enjoyed every second.

Thanks again to Kingswood for inviting us down tonight 👏🏻. And good luck with the rest of your season.

Cup Quarter Final day 🏆.

Now that the old ticker has calmed down from the end to end game and the excitement of making it to our first semi final I just want to say how immensely proud we are of these girls and what they have achieved together.

A shout out to our oppenents today Costello who gave us a great game this sunny morning and wish them all the best this season.

We continue the hard work now to make that final.

Well done girls 👏🏻 💙🤍

Match Report.

The first half was a really good contest for the girls against a very good cottingham side and our girls did really well and worked hard to create some chances in an end to end first half with Cott just edging it at the half time whistle.

The second half started and the hard work continued from our girls and the chances where few and far between and Freya got her goal in the end after a very difficult morning up front.

Onto player of the match and after another fantastic game in goal and lots of important saves the award goes to Evie. Well done Evie.

⚽️ Freya

Training last night started with a fun little warm up set by Chris Peachey which the girls thoroughly enjoyed with lots of laughing and giggling.

Once that was done the girls moved onto something they haven't tried before. This was something the coaches picked up on after the first game at the weekend. The girls listened to all the instructions and then put it in to practice and after a slow start the girls smashed it and showed some good bits of play.

Onto trainer of the week.

And that went to Amy. Who listened to everything she was instructed to do and did absolutely amazing when putting it into practice. Well done Amy 👏🏻

Today we finally got back to playing games (summer break lasted for ages 😝)

We had a short trip down spring bank to play Chanterlands Girls Football Club new U10's team at Hymers College.

Our girls was up for it and so was our opposition and the game started really well for our girls who had lots of the football and early chances which saw us take an early lead and we never looked back and controlled the game really well.

Credit to the opposition they never gave up and had some really good spells on the ball of there own.

Great game of football and really glad to be back.

Well done Girls 👏🏻
