🏉⚡ PRACTICE MAKES PROGRESS! ⚡🏉

Another fantastic training session for our Myton Warriors Under 9s! ❤️💚

Today's focus was on:

🏃‍♂️ Running the right lines
📋 Learning and executing attacking plays
⚡ Improving line speed
🤝 Working together as one team

The Warriors worked hard on building confidence with their attacking plays, improving their line speed, and making sure they executed each move with speed and accuracy. It was great to see the boys and girls communicating, supporting each other, and growing in confidence throughout the session.

To finish the evening, we had a fun team-bonding game of "Who Draws, Eats the Bean!" 😂 It brought plenty of laughs, smiles, and great memories, reminding us that being a Warrior is just as much about friendship and enjoying the journey as it is about rugby.

A huge well done to all of our players, coaches, and parents for another brilliant session at Warrior Park. 👏❤️💚

Today our Myton Warriors U9s took on the U10s in a special friendly as part of the Kris Welham Testimonial Rugby League Festival and what a fantastic experience it was for both teams! ❤️💚

For our U9s, this was a big challenge and a glimpse into what's waiting for them next year.

Before even taking to the field, they had already completed an hour of training, before having to adapt to new rules, a different pitch size and playing 9 vs 9.

But the kids were absolutely up for the challenge! 💪🔥

They adapted, listened, learned and gave it everything they had. There was plenty to take away from the game, and experiences like this are invaluable as they continue to develop and prepare for the next stage of their rugby league journey.

👏 A massive well done to our U10s too!

They put in a really solid performance, applying constant pressure and showing some brilliant movement of the ball throughout the game. A great example for our younger Warriors of what they'll be working towards next season.

But most importantly, today wasn't about a result.

It was a friendly played for some fun, to give the kids a new challenge and to enjoy their rugby. At the end of the day, U9s or U10s, we're all part of the same Warrior family. ❤️💚

Huge credit to every player who took part and to all the coaches, parents and supporters who got behind them.

A massive thank you to Hull FC for having us as part of their Community Match Day tonight! 🖤🤍 Hull FC Community Foundation

Some of our Myton Warriors Under 9s, alongside players from other Myton age groups and community clubs from across Hull and the surrounding area, had a fantastic night watching Hull FC vs Castleford Tigers. 🏉

The highlight for the kids was getting the opportunity to walk around the MKM Stadium pitch at half-time as part of the community club parade. 🙌

For these young players, getting to walk around a Super League pitch in front of the crowd, wearing their Myton Warriors shirts and representing their club, was a brilliant experience and one we're sure they'll remember for a long time.

Events like this show just how special the rugby league community in Hull really is. 🏉👏
