WHAT. A. GAME!
The Sharks started very slowly today and found themselves 3–0 down after just 20 minutes. It could have been even worse, but Alan was in fantastic form, keeping us in the game and giving the boys a chance to regroup.
The players knew what the problem was, and so did the coaches. A change in formation gave the Sharks a platform to get back into the game.
Playing football has never been a problem for this group, but at times our shape can be all over the place. The boys pulled together, sorted the issue and started attacking Ferriby.

The Sharks won the second 20 minutes 2–1, and suddenly we were right back in the game.
HALF-TIME 🗣️
The team talk was simple:
“Keep playing the way you are. Settle down on the ball and the goals will come.”
And they did.
The Sharks came flying out for the third 20 minutes and scored three cracking goals, with:

The boys were playing with a purpose. They never bottled a challenge, even against bigger and stronger lads, and continued to play their football.
Going into the final 20 minutes, the Sharks were 5–4 ahead.
Ferriby threw absolutely everything at us, but the boys stood tall. They defended, battled, worked for each other and produced a performance they should be incredibly proud of.
To go 60 minutes without conceding a goal after being 3–0 down is something worth shouting about! 👏👏
A massive mention to Ethan, Alex, Stephen, Reuben, Max and Charlie, who were outstanding throughout the game. 🔥
But honestly, every single player deserves credit today. This wasn't just about the five goals — it was about character, togetherness, resilience and believing in each other.

NEW HOME. NEW JOURNEY. 🦈
Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the Sharks.
After seven fantastic years under the Kingswood United banner, we've made the decision to begin a new journey and are proud to announce that, from today, we will be known as Pelican Rangers Sharks.
This wasn't a decision made overnight. It was made with one goal in mind – to give our players the very best environment to continue developing, enjoying their football and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
We'd like to place on record our sincere thanks to everyone at Kingswood United. To every player, coach, volunteer, parent and supporter who has been part of our journey over the last seven years – thank you. We've shared some incredible moments together, and they'll always be a huge part of our story.
While our home may be changing, who we are will not.
The Sharks' values, togetherness, hard work and ambition remain exactly the same. We're simply beginning a new chapter with fresh opportunities, new challenges and an exciting future ahead.
We can't wait to get started and hope you'll all join us as we begin this next adventure.

Kingswood United Sharks have some massive News, exciting times ahead, announcement lunch time

The sharks are in action again this Sunday, this time we play at St Mary's welcoming Discoveries, play like you did on Sunday and hopefully you'll get the job done ⚽⚽💪💪

Kingswood United Sharks 3–1 Armthorpe Rovers
The Sharks were looking for the perfect response after Tuesday night's defeat, but they knew it wouldn't come easy against a well-organised Armthorpe side.
From the first whistle, Kingswood took control and never really looked back. The confidence to play out from the back was there for everyone to see, and at times the football was simply outstanding. The Sharks moved the ball with purpose, showing patience before releasing both strikers to create chance after chance. At times, they were knocking it around like prime Real Madrid.
It wasn't long before Arie broke the deadlock. Picking the ball up, he showed brilliant individual skill to beat his defender before calmly firing home to give the Sharks a deserved lead.
Despite both teams being short on numbers, every one of the 22 players on the pitch gave absolutely everything. Armthorpe battled back well and found an equaliser to make it 1-1, setting up an intriguing contest.
The Sharks responded brilliantly.
Keeping the ball moving with runners everywhere, Kingswood regained control and were rewarded when Arie grabbed his second of the afternoon to restore the lead. The third goal was a moment of real football intelligence. Stan, standing in an offside position from a throw-in (where offside doesn't apply), received the ball before squaring it perfectly for Jack, who coolly slotted into the bottom corner to seal a deserved 3-1 victory.
A fantastic team performance, but special mentions have to go to Fred and Alan.
Fred was outstanding at the heart of the defence, composed on the ball, always available to receive possession, and dominant in his individual battles throughout the game.
Alan produced two or three unbelievable saves that kept the Sharks in control when it mattered most. His shot-stopping was exceptional, but what really stands out is his distribution. Add that to his game and... WOW. Just WOW.
This wasn't just a friendly—it was the perfect response to Tuesday's disappointment, showing the character, quality and togetherness of this Sharks squad.
Attention now turns to next Sunday, when another top side from Cleethorpes make the trip to face a Sharks team full of confidence.
