Away today against Hotspurs and what a way to end a brilliant season, with a win! 💪⚽️

Every single lad was outstanding, digging deep right to the final whistle. That late winner to make it 2–1 was fully deserved and a perfect way to sign off the season 🔥🙌

This year has definitely had its ups and downs, which is exactly what we expected. The jump from Division 7 to Division 2 was always going to be a challenge, but the boys have risen to it. Being the only team in the league to beat the top two unbeaten sides shows the quality we’ve got and the potential to go even further next season 🚀

At home against Barham on Sunday and this fixture is quickly becoming a proper local derby/rivalry 🔥 one both clubs clearly look forward to! You could feel it from the sidelines with a great turnout from both sets of supporters 👏

I’m confident games like this will only inspire and push the lads to improve year after year 💪

Unfortunately for Sproatley, Barham came out strong from the first minute. They put us under pressure, forced mistakes, and ultimately wanted it more on the day, taking their chances well and running out 3-0 winners.

That’s one apiece for the season… we can’t wait for the next one 👀⚽️

⚽️ Match Report ⚽️

Away to Nafferton this week and the boys battled hard to secure another point. The conditions were very tough, with the wind really dictating how the game was played. 🌬️

After taking an early lead, the boys unfortunately found themselves going in at half-time behind, despite having the advantage of the wind in the first half.

With the wind now in their faces for the second half, the lads had it all to do, but they showed fantastic character and determination to claw back two goals and earn a well-deserved draw. 💪

⭐️ Man of the Match – Isaac ⭐️
Isaac never stopped running, constantly creating chances for the team. He also bagged himself a brilliant goal straight from the corner spot, using the wind to curl it straight in! 🌪️⚽️

👏 Great effort from all the boys in really difficult conditions.

It’s game day again tomorrow for the boys, and it also happens to be Mother’s Day! 🌸 We know it’s a special day for many families, but if you’re able to, come down and spend part of it supporting the lads.

The team will be giving it everything as always, and your support on the sidelines really does make a difference.
