Kingswood Knights U7 vs Sproatley Wolves

☀️🕶️ lovely morning down on kinloss for our last game of the U7s season 😢… how fast has that gone!!

We went into this phase as a brand new team with some boys who have never played football EVER, 1 boy playing a year up and 3 boys who had played phase 1 in U8s.
We went into phase 2 feeling abit nervous as you would being a new team.. not really sure why because we have absolutely smashed it this season 🤩

Honestly don’t even know how to write this last match report 🙈🤣

1st game, Sproatley was fast straight from the whistle putting pressure straight onto the Knights but it didn’t take long for us to find our feel and start shooting.
Knights was getting tested and they started to feel the pressure giving away some free kicks which led to goals for Sproatley, having said that they gave away a free kick and what an outstanding Goal for Xander!!
Knights came back out fighting in 2nd half and took control over the game massively proving what an incredible team we’ve become!

2nd game…. WOW WOW 🤩 Knights was absolutely fantastic!
The boys worked that pitch like pros not giving Sproatley time to think with our quick footwork and skills, the passing and teamwork was amazing!
Knights covered every bit of that pitch today calling for each other and unselfishly looking for other players so they can get on the score sheet too!

The way they celebrate together and the bond they have created really is wonderful..

When that final whistle got blown today the screams of excitement & happiness all jumping on each other and hugging 🥹 was quite emotional to watch.
We have created a lovely Kingswood Family and really can’t wait for U8s to start!

Kingswood Knights U7s vs Barham

Lovely & sunny KO for us today at kinloss where the boys played against Barham.

Knights started strong with a goal straight from KO Barham came at us very strong and was all over knights with their defence making it hard for knights but we came back after half time really strong & up for it!
Knights defence was fantastic and I’m pretty sure they covered every bit of that pitch today showing us their brilliant footwork and fast pace.

2nd game was a brilliant battle between both sides it’s almost like Barham has just switched on and started getting past knights showing us some brilliant goals and testing our keeper.
Knights brought it back after half time and got their heads up and really showed us what an amazing team they are with amazing teamwork and some fantastic passing to create space and perfect goals!!

Kingswood Knights VS North Ferriby Whites 19/04

Today was a very early start for the boys with an 8:45 KO in north ferriby 😳

Knights was very up for it today must of all had early nights last night because Iv never seen the boys play as fast as they did today. Ferriby did put some pressure on the boys today as they was very fast at restarting the game even with kick ins which ours haven’t been use too!
Knights soon took control and they was back to communicating with each and working every bit of the pitch showing some lovely footwork and some very impressive shots 🤩
Each week they are getting stronger and stronger and really showing us what they can achieve when they work as a team.

Overall knights dominated both games and they are an absolute pleasure to watch each week!

Thursday we decided to have a friendly against Pelican U7s to try give the boys a test as this team are a few devisions up from us!
They played some wonderful football and had great communication between them.. shouting for the ball looking for spaces and using making every shot count and it did… well done boys great results!

We didn’t do Match player with it being a friendly!

4 of our boys was playing against 2 of their rugby team mates and on the pitch you wouldn’t of even noticed they were friends but soon as that whistle went at the end they was best of friends and back to messing about! 🧡🖤😃

Kingswood Knights Vs Hornsea Falcons

We thought we’d struggle today with having no subs and no keeper, we was worried we’d have some tired legs!

HOW WRONG was we… the 5 boys that played today was outstanding 🤩🔥

we took control and dominated both games not sure we even entered their half of the pitch in the first game.

The passing was amazing and the communication our boys had with each other was great and it really paid off because the goals just kept coming & coming!

The boys showed some fantastic footwork and some skills we’ve never seen them do before it was an absolute pleasure to watch! They have come on so much as a team & their teamwork is incredible.

Overall fantastic Games today boys!

I would like to make a special mention of 2 boys that really stepped up today and made it possible for us to play.. Louie T & Louie S they both stepped up and went in goal although they was a tad bored 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 but they kept a clean sheet for both games! Thank you

Tonight we had some fun at training and teamed up with Kingswood United Jedis and attempted to have a game.. the boys was wild 🤣 we mixed them up & switched the teams about! Overall brilliant night tonight and we treated them all to easter eggs! Have a great Easter boys and enjoy the rest on Sunday 😍

Kingswood Knights U7s Vs Patrington Reds

This was a little test today for the boys as Patrington was a very strong team with some fantastic results!

The first game was tough and took both teams a while to settle into the swing of things.
Defence was incredible by both teams and ended first half with no goals but endless amounts of shots by both teams.

2nd half was so much better Knights had woken up and wouldn’t let Patrington out of their half our defence was outstanding and the boy showed some amazing footwork creating some lovely goals.

Second game was pretty much the same a tough battle and knights was pressured so much in every area.
Knights covered every bit of the pitch today but our boys was not letting them anywhere near our goal.
The passing they showed today was amazing and created some cracking goals, showed fantastic team work.. well done Knights keep it up!! 😃🤩
