National Scout Rifle Championships The 44th National Scout Rifle Championships will be held at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley, on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October 2022.

Congratulations to the Greater London South West Team, for winning the Pistol portion of the Scout Intercounty Team Airgun Championship at NSRA Aldersley last Sunday 🏆

So, the RKSARC Spring competition will be being held over the weekend of the 20th/21st of May
Old invites and information have been sent out but here are the Poster, full details/rules and most importantly the link to sign up are in the comments below. There are still plenty of places left.
As is now normal we will be having 10 metre own equipment section, novices section, and the usual 6 yard Rifle and Pistol supplied equipment.

Hello all, well it's been rather quiet here recently, busy, busy, busy! We've run a set of Autumn YPS courses and were currently running a Spring set, all very well attended.

We are also about to send out details of the 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 which will take place over the weekend of the 20th/21st May this year. So put the date in your diaries and watch out for the invite, posters and entry link, which I will post here too.

For Scout Association Members only (that's Scouts, Explorers, Leaders and helpers), it's our Autumn County Open Competition 2022!
RKSARC are running it (because we're amazing), and we're hoping to see lots of you there!

Ok, so that date that was set in stone for the Autumn competition, has just been chiselled out and carved into the 17th/18th September.
Long story short, it's changed!

Hello all, just a quick update with a date for your diaries.
The GLSW County Open Air Rifle and Pistol Competition, hosted by RKSARC, is set for the weekend of the 17th/18th (updated) September at 1st Hook HQ.
Full details, booking form link, etc. will be sent out a little nearer the time.

Hello All,
We will be running Youth Proficiency Scheme (YPS) courses for Rifle and Pistol, starting on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th May.
The courses run for 8 weeks, one 1 hour session per week (not including Half Terms or Public Holidays).

The courses will follow the National Smallbore Rifle Association's Youth Proficiency Scheme (aka NSRA /YPS), covering safety, the law, and basic techniques of air Rifle or Pistol shooting.
At the end of the course there will be a simple theory test and you will receive an NSRA YPS Certificate, and you will be awarded an NSRA Proficiency Badge according to the level of shooting skill reached. You also qualify for your Scout 'Master at Arms' badge, once you have competed in a competition (the club runs two competitions per year).

Each course costs £57.50

• PISTOL: Monday 20:00 - 21:00 - Max 8

NOTE: You must have previously completed a YPS Rifle course before applying for a Pistol course
