Our first game at T2 today against a very good Blue Brazil 2017 Maxwell side.

The first half was a tough one. A couple of early goals settled Blue Brazil into the game quickly and it knocked the boys a bit. They struggled to find the rhythm and confidence we've seen from them in training and previous games.

Let's just say tough love was required! 😂

We all know exactly how hard these boys have worked to get to this level, and we wanted them to go out in the second half and show it.

And that's exactly what they did. 💪🔥

The boys came out with a completely different mindset. The passing was sharper, the link-up play was much better, first touches improved and they started creating opportunities.

A few chances went our way and on another day they could easily have found the back of the net. ⚽️

Most importantly, the boys didn't give up. They listened, responded and showed the fight and effort that we know they're capable of. 👏

There's plenty for us to work on this week:

That's what football is all about at this age — learning, improving and getting better together. 💙

**Blues v Tiki Taka**

A game to come away proud of in my eyes. All the boys certainly put up a fight, and that’s all we can ask for.

It was a tense, back-and-forth game, with some great football played by both sides. We conceded a couple of unfortunate goals, but the boys kept going right until the end.

What our Blues displayed today, however, was exactly what we’ve been working on in training — the fight, desire and determination to win the ball back and not allow the other team to play freely.

Goals were scored by both *Tobi and Innes* today. Well done boys! 👏⚽

Innes was also presented with the *Fair Play Card*— well done again, Innes! 👏

That gap is closing, and soon enough we’ll be where we need to be in Tier 1. It’s coming — we just need to keep working, keep believing, and keep the momentum going.

Raith Rovers Whites vs Cowie Colts ⚽️

We’ve played Cowie before, and last time they borrowed Jaxson… who then went and scored against us! 🤣 Thankfully, he’s on our side this time!

Cowie have definitely improved since we last played them, but our boys have come on so much as well, and that really showed today with a fantastic game. 👏

A lot of what we’ve been working on in training is really starting to show in the games. The composure on the ball, weight of passes, communication and, most importantly, looking to use their teammates were all on display today. Some really good football from the boys. 👌⚽️

Finn and Lauchlan both had a great half in goals. It’s brilliant having options now and being able to give the boys the opportunity to have a go outfield as well. 🔥

A massive thank you again to Jennifer for coming onto the sidelines and helping out today — really appreciated! 👏

⚽️RRCC 2017 Blues - Rosyth Football Festival. 💙⚽

The boys played some really good football throughout the day, and most importantly, it was great to see them enjoying themselves, playing with confidence, and supporting each other.

Across the 6 games, the Blues performed brilliant with 2 tight games and 4 stellar performances — a fantastic effort from the whole team. 👏

There were plenty of positives to take from today, and it was great to see the boys putting some of the things we’ve been working on into practice while also enjoying their football.

Well done boys — fantastic effort from everyone! 💙👏⚽

⚽️RRCC 2017 Whites - Rosyth Festival⚽️

What a fantastic day for the boys! They showed great energy, teamwork and character throughout the festival, and every single one of them can be really proud of their efforts.

We started with a tight game against the team who ultimately picked up the trophy. It was a really strong performance from our boys, and on the balance of play, we felt we were the stronger side in that game. It was a great start and showed just how well the boys were playing.

We then had a tough game against Auchtermuchty. We used this game as an opportunity to mix things up and let the boys experience different positions, which is all part of their development. They took it in their stride and continued to work hard right until the final whistle.

The other four games were excellent, with the boys playing some fantastic football and showing how good they are. There was great energy, plenty of teamwork and some brilliant individual performances throughout the day.

Overall, the boys were fantastic. We finished the festival full of confidence. With a little more luck, we could and probably should have gone the whole festival unbeaten! 👏⚽️

A huge well done to every one of the boys. They gave everything, supported each other and represented the team brilliantly. You should all be very proud of them! 💪👏

⚽ Raith Rovers Blues vs Bowhill Yellows ⚽

Another fantastic performance from the Blues today against a strong Bowhill Yellows side! 👏🔥

The boys came flying out the traps, starting the game with great energy and playing some really good football. There was some excellent attacking play on show, including a brilliant team goal that really set the tone! ⚽️👏

The boys went into half-time full of confidence and, after a chance to rehydrate and regroup, came back out with the same intensity in the second half. They continued to work hard, play positively and support each other right through to the final whistle. 💪🔵⚪

There were goals from Innes, Thomas and Kyson, with the boys also producing a fantastic defensive display to keep a clean sheet. 👏🧤

🏆 MOTM: Thomas — a brilliant shift up and down the left wing, showing great ability, energy and work rate. He was also fantastic at tracking back and helping out defensively, while contributing goals and assists at the other end. What a performance! 👏🔥

A huge confidence boost heading into tomorrow’s festival. Let’s keep that momentum going, boys — bring the same energy, teamwork and determination tomorrow! ⚽️🏆👏
