We were already really happy with our squad, but then Archie came along… 👀

Archie currently plays for our Saturday team, and from the moment he started training with us, we could see the potential he has. He’s extremely coachable, listens, takes things on board and, most importantly, wants to learn and improve.

In a short space of time, we’ve seen a clear progression in Archie’s development, so we invited him to train with our Sunday team, a higher-ability group, to see how he would handle the challenge.

And wow… Archie absolutely thrived! 🔥

After speaking with Archie and his parents, it was clear that he wants to push himself and challenge himself at a higher level on a Sunday. As a coaching team, we felt this was the perfect opportunity for him to take that next step in his development.

So, we’re delighted to officially welcome Big Arch to the Sunday squad!

Welcome aboard, Archie! 💙

Was a decent session tonight too, plenty of ball rolling, skill based practices finished with an intense fitness session 💪🏼⚽️

We’d like to wish everybody a happy Easter for tomorrow 🥚 the lads have got 3 league games left and then we finish our first season with a cup final 🤩 what an achievement for a new team especially with all the teams from the above division being in the same cup.
Win or lose they’ve done amazing and we Couldn’t be prouder of them all 🏆

To say we’re proud of these lads would be an understatement.
Their first season together and they’ve managed to get to a final. A very hard earned 3-0 win today sees us playing for silverware in May. Win or lose, well done lads you’ve smashed it so far this season

They’re not doing too bad to say it’s their first season together, we couldn’t be prouder of them all 💪🏼⚽️🔵🟡⚪️

First half of the game we didn’t really have our foot on the gas. We weren’t communicating and our passing and movement off the ball wasn’t there. Saying that we still went into half time in front which I think we did deserve.
At half time we asked the lads to go up just one gear and they did that 2nd half. We started moving the ball quicker and our movement off the ball was a lot better and we picked them off.
We was like a different team that 2nd half and we really put them to the sword. There were some big performances too, all the lads played really really well and I’m absolutely buzzing the lads. Another semi final for some of them and another step close to winning some silverware 🏆 semi finals here we come 💪🏼

Jax put a cracking shift in today. He’s positivity when he’s on the ball and the drive to go forward really put us on the front foot. A hattrick of assists for the mullet man this morning he was excellent well done mate

Referees - Layton
Layton again was brilliant this morning. He got a bit of a knock in the first half but when he went back on he was fantastic. Between him and Big H aka the Great Wall of China they kept the Leeds players out with Layton making some brilliant clearances off the line. Well done mate

Jack was on fire today. His hard work is really admirable as he puts 100% in every weekend. I’d love to know how many miles he does on a game day because he never stops. 4 goals for the Firthster this morning and it was lovely seeing him opening his body up to finish in the bottoms corners, it’s something we’ve been trying to get him to do and he smashed it today. If he carries on finishing like that he’s gonna get an absolute bucket load of goals. Smashed it well done mate
