We’d like to wish everybody a happy Easter for tomorrow 🥚 the lads have got 3 league games left and then we finish our first season with a cup final 🤩 what an achievement for a new team especially with all the teams from the above division being in the same cup.
Win or lose they’ve done amazing and we Couldn’t be prouder of them all 🏆

To say we’re proud of these lads would be an understatement.
Their first season together and they’ve managed to get to a final. A very hard earned 3-0 win today sees us playing for silverware in May. Win or lose, well done lads you’ve smashed it so far this season

First half of the game we didn’t really have our foot on the gas. We weren’t communicating and our passing and movement off the ball wasn’t there. Saying that we still went into half time in front which I think we did deserve.
At half time we asked the lads to go up just one gear and they did that 2nd half. We started moving the ball quicker and our movement off the ball was a lot better and we picked them off.
We was like a different team that 2nd half and we really put them to the sword. There were some big performances too, all the lads played really really well and I’m absolutely buzzing the lads. Another semi final for some of them and another step close to winning some silverware 🏆 semi finals here we come 💪🏼

Jax put a cracking shift in today. He’s positivity when he’s on the ball and the drive to go forward really put us on the front foot. A hattrick of assists for the mullet man this morning he was excellent well done mate

Referees - Layton
Layton again was brilliant this morning. He got a bit of a knock in the first half but when he went back on he was fantastic. Between him and Big H aka the Great Wall of China they kept the Leeds players out with Layton making some brilliant clearances off the line. Well done mate

Jack was on fire today. His hard work is really admirable as he puts 100% in every weekend. I’d love to know how many miles he does on a game day because he never stops. 4 goals for the Firthster this morning and it was lovely seeing him opening his body up to finish in the bottoms corners, it’s something we’ve been trying to get him to do and he smashed it today. If he carries on finishing like that he’s gonna get an absolute bucket load of goals. Smashed it well done mate

We treat the boys to a Christmas party/team bonding activity as they’ve been really busy since May. We’ve had an amazing evening and it’s been brilliant seeing them all have fun. These lads are some team and seeing how they’ve been developing over the first half of this season has been fantastic and we’re really looking forward to starting the 2nd half of the season in the new year! Hopefully we can make the semi final of the cup and maybe go one better 💪🏼 well done boys you deserve your presents and party 🥳

We welcome Wigton Moor jfc this Sunday down at the ferry park stadium. If you’ve nowt to do Sunday morning come down for a nice hot cup of tea or coffee and a bacon and sausage sandwich and give the boys your support. Amazing effort from the boys today, from the first whistle to the last they all kept their foot on the pedal which was nice to see as we’ve been guilty of taking the foot of the gas in games like this. We’ve started working on structure in training and that’s what we asked from the boys today which we did see a small improvement on. Well done lads

Did everything but score today. Really has grabbed the left side spot as his own now and loves missing from a yard out 😂😂😂 should be on 30 goals this season haha he was brilliant again today, caused their defenders problems all day and did everything but score. Well done mate.

If it was the prem they’d be calling him a Rolls Royce player. Jax just glides along and kept us ticking over today. A couple of their bigger lads tried to get a bit rough but old Broom dog was having none of it and gave them it straight back. Played some beautiful balls in and his visions brilliant. Controlled the middle of the park today. Well done mate

Another maverick of the team big Sambo put another big shift in. You can literally put Sam anywhere and he’ll do a job and he took the game to amaranth today. Should have had more goals and assists but his work rate and effort for the team was amazing. Like it is every week. Well done mate

Tyler was convinced he scored he said the ball had gone over the line, Sam was convinced he scored and said the ball had gone over the line..how we haven’t got 10 goals again is beyond me 😂 we was under pressure for a good 20 mins but the boys held strong and we scored some cracking goals. Jacks solo effort,Jaxy Brooms banger and Masons well worked goal were brilliant well done boys. Think we still need to work on a a bit of game structure and letting the ball do the work but Into the 1/4 finals we go 💪🏼⚽️🔵🟡

Ivan was brilliant this morning. Didn’t put a foot wrong and was solid at the back 💪🏼 his strength and playing the ball out was fantastic and he can read a game really well too. We’re seeing the Ivan we saw pre summer at grandmas 😂 he was brilliant today well done mate

Mason again being an absolute pest on the left. His runs to the back post are perfect and how he hasn’t scored 40 this season I don’t know haha he’s making sure he’s there though and it’s doing the business for him. Well done mate

The Tasmanian devil put another strong performance again. Should have scored but his hard work, tricky feet and sheer determination to win the ball makes up for it. Probably the smallest on the pitch today but he smashed and got stuck into everyone of their players it’s brilliant to watch. He was fantastic again today. Well done mate

Having Jaxy Broom with us is brilliant. Calm and collected in the middle he made us tick today. His goal was an absolute beauty and was well deserved. Again got stuck into their big lads and was playing some brilliant balls through. Well done mate

How we’ve not scored 10+ I don’t know as we totally dominated most of the game.
From defence to the front everybody was amazing today and to say we’re proud would be an understatement. There was some massive performances put in, Big Firthy up top was incredible and it was lovely having Layton back. The walls restored with big H. I could mention everybody but I’d run out of letters on here 😂 well done lads 💪🏼⚽️🔵🟡

Having Layton back today shows what we’ve missed the past few weeks. Big Greyson deputised brilliantly but having him in cm and Layton at the back makes us harder to break down, Laytons pace and his sheer will to get back saw him clear one of the line and that was a defining moment in the game for me. He was fantastic today and only asked to play on midfield 6 times which was a result in itself 😂 well done mate

The Pocket Rockets, the Beast and Tasmanian devil was 2 more that was sensational this morning. Don’t think there was a blade of grass that Gray didn’t cover and masons 2 goals (should have had 4 😂) and his constant pressure on th left caused Wortley all kinds of problems. Jack giving Mason his goals on plate was proper football and Grays constant battling and never give up attitude was the difference between us and them today. Well done lads

We’ve had a performance like this coming for a few weeks. When we play better teams we raise our own game. What we need to start doing is keeping this level against the weaker teams we play and we need to be putting these to bed. Couldn’t be prouder and happier of all the boys today well done fellas.
