After the craziness of the 261 Fearless international coach summit in Vienna, our coaches were back leading our Meet Run on home soil. Our theme for this month is strength and we started with mental strength and trying out different distraction techniques you can use when you’re running and feel like you want to stop 🛑 When you need to use one it’s much more effective and easier if you’ve practised it before. Counting, mantras, maths, form checks, we tried these and more. Great fun and we hardly knew we were running! 261FearlessClubUK

We’re having a joint ‘away’ Meet Run this week because all the Lancaster Coaches will be in Vienna at the International Coach Summit. Check the details below - we won’t be in Ryelands Park

This Friday’s Meetrun will be an away session meeting at the start of the Stone Jetty in Morecambe - a joint session with the women of 261 Club Arnside and 261 Fearless Club Lancaster. See you there at 9.30am - stay for coffee too if you’d like! Find out what we’re all about.

Photos from last week and this. Fun every Friday. Pressure free running (honestly!) and laughter. It was an away run today with a trip to Halton, cruise along the river and coffee at The Centre afterwards. Thanks to Susan, our member who organised this for us. Back in our usual spot at Ryelands Park next week - come and join us! It was certainly a scorcher but we worked on our core to help our balance, challenged ourselves with a plank ladder and had an easy, short run. Well done everyone! Whatever the weather we’re here for you! 💜💪🏃‍♀️

We don’t just run! Our Meet Runs are designed to help you run well, with good form and efficiency. Why? Because running efficiently makes running much easier! Plus, you’ll be less likely to get injured and you can run for the rest of your life. If you’ve never run before, that’s great - it means there are no bad habits! Oh and we make running FUN too!
