We are excited to say we will be running a trip to the Scottish village of Eyemouth to do some boat diving this October 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
If you would like more information or want to sign up you can DM us here or email our trips officer directly at: [email protected]

Come and join us and give scuba diving a go! Under the expert guidance of one of our qualified BSAC instructors, you will get a twenty minute dive where you will get the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of being underwater for an extended period. Whilst there is an unfortunate lack of interesting wildlife in the sports centre pool, you will get to see first hand what it is like to swim, breathe, and move underwater using scuba gear. This is an easy, no-commiment way to see if diving is for you before enrolling on our BSAC Ocean Diver course. We will be running a quick talk after the dive also, where we will go over some of the technicalities of learning to dive and answer any questions you have regarding the training process. There may even be some free biscuits...

Some benefits of doing a try dive:
- No prior scuba diving experience required
- Not the strongest swimmer? No worries! Swimming underwater is very different to surface swimming; you’ll soon get the hang of it!
- Provides an excellent opportunity to “try before you buy”
- No LUSCUBA membership required
- Those who complete a try dive will be eligible for a 15% reduction in their annual membership as a welcome gift.
-
Divers are asked to bring appropriate swimwear along with a t-shirt or rash vest for use underwater. A towel is also recommended. It is not possible to dive whilst wearing glasses, so those with short sightedness should wear contacts. If you have any questions regarding the event, please reach out to us via email or message us on Instagram

Please note that all divers will be required to sign a Try Dive medical and responsibility declaration form before entering the water.

If you have any questions regarding the event, please reach out to us via email or message us on Instagram. 29/09/2025
