Last night at our rally, we had the pleasure of a visit from Great Eccleston Show President Richard Furnival and secretary Janet Simpson. We were kindly presented us with a huge donation, for Lancaster and District Branch of the Pony Club. The branch thanked them for the generous charity to charity support.
Back in July many of our members supported the show with a demonstration ride, we had a great day out, along with the generous support of Shorefields Supplies, the donation has helped supply the fantastic costumes and equipment for the day and future games and dressage training for all club members to benefit from. Thanks again to Shorefields Supplies and Great Eccleston Show.
We are incredibly lucky and proud to be part of this show event and canβt wait to attend bigger and better next year!
π Huge congratulations to Myrtle for a brilliant Tetrathlon Champs! π
A fab effort all round, and pure Lancaster Pony Club spirit!
Thank you for an amazing day π₯π΄. We canβt wait until the next training session.

Area Eventing 2025 π
Our members had a great day of competition at Kelsall Hill with great teamwork course walking and supporting each other.
Results:
70+ - Niamh & Spud took on the challenge of their first event together and smashed it! A respectable dressage and then a fabulous double clear to finish in 3rd π₯ place and qualifying regional championships.
80 - Layla & Piglet also tackled their first event together and had to contend with the early rain βοΈ during their rather excitable dressage test but then pulled off another fabulous double clear just picking up a few too quick penalties XC but finished 7th and qualified for the regional
Championship.
90 - Team : Ella, Lottie, Molly & Myrtle - 5th
Molly & Hiccup stepped up to 90 level and produced a super dressage, clear SJ and really good XC just picking up one stop and a few time penalties but a fabulous performance for their first 90.
Lottie & Pluto produced a lovely dressage, just rolled a pole SJ but then had a fabulous clear XC just clocking up 0.8 time penalties to finish 6th overall.
Ella & Bob produced another lovely well ridden dressage test, a super clear SJ and then solid XC performance with just a couple of stops and time to add.
Myrtle & Ryan did a great job in the dressage on a very eager Ryan! A super speedy SJ to go clear and then a fabulous clear XC with just a handful of time penalties.
A great day with lots learnt, lots of firsts, and some new enthusiast eventers in the making ππ€©
Area SJ 21st June 2025 π
Lancaster & District Pony Club hosted the Area 4 SJ competition at Myerscough College .
The run up was a little stressful and extra precautions were quickly put into place to keep all the ponies safe - big thank you to everyone for following the rules .
A big shout out to those that helped set up the night before , donated tombola prizes , baked cakes and those that helped on the day without the help of those parents, grandparents and the kids fan base we couldnβt run the event !
An even bigger thank you to those that helped all weekend including the children and the committe members.
Β£301.30 raised on the tombola , cakes and the candy floss. With this money we have decided to purchase a Jolly Jumps Package - these will be used rallies, camp etc .
This year our wonderful sponsored weβre:
SHOREFIELDS SUPPLIES
SC PSYCHOLOGY
DENT DEVILS
BAY HORSE LAUNDRY
NORTH WEST EQUINE VETS

What a privilege it has been over the past year to watch our members develop essential swimming techniques, water safety skills, and confidence in the water, all under the expert supervision and guidance of Susan. Her dedication and professionalism have made a tremendous difference to our swimmers of all ages.
As we approach the end of another successful year, itβs time to reflect on, and celebrate the fantastic achievements of our members.
