Still reflecting on Sunday’s Yoga for Everyone class in Kilmarnock.
Gentle movement. Breath.
Community. Real people arriving exactly as they are.
For me, yoga was never only about poses. It became a way of returning to baseline — physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually — especially through life’s more complex seasons.
The weather changes. The nervous system changes. Life changes.
We breathe, move, adapt, continue.
Thank you to everyone walking alongside this evolving journey with West Coast OM. 🌿

I place on the altar of dawn:
The quiet loyalty of breath,
The tent of thought where I shelter,
Waves of desire I am shore to
And all beauty drawn to the eye.
May my mind come alive today
To the invisible geography
That invites me to new frontiers,
To break the dead shell of yesterdays,
To risk being disturbed and changed.
May I have the courage today
To live the life that I would love,
To postpone my dream no longer
But do at last what I came here for
And waste my heart on fear no more.

Arran, a week ago 🌿
Time by the sea, space to breathe…
and something quietly shifting underneath it all.
Back now, settling into life again on the mainland - bringing that sense of openness with me ✨
The reminder I’m keeping:
not everything needs pushing.
Some things unfold in their own time.

Urban sunrise 🌅
This morning… light finding its way through the ordinary.
No big view, no perfect setting but A Perfect Setting for a new day arriving quietly.

Noticing more and more that it doesn’t have to be ideal to feel a moment of clarity.

Early spring on the West Coast
🌿🌊
A few weeks ago I was down on the beach at 7.15am for a seaweed foraging session! It was low tide with quiet air and a different pace…Seaweed, shoreline, seeing what’s already here ✨
Lovely to be guided by Wander & Wonder — a simple, beautiful way to experience something familiar with fresh eyes. Even a tasty wee seaweed pesto at the end… such a nice touch.
Noticing more and more how much the body responds to this kind of rhythm.

Still feeling the calm from this week’s Yoga for Everyone class.
9 people on the mat again, a gentle pace and a really welcoming space to move and breathe together.
Grateful to be part of something that’s quietly growing in the community.

Spring Equinox 🌼
A natural moment of balance ·light and dark meeting in equal measure.
The daffodils are out, the light is returning, and there’s a quiet sense of things beginning again.
I’ll be teaching this Sunday at the Howard Centre in Kilmarnock as part of Yoga for Everyone · a gentle space to move, breathe and reset as we step into the new season.
