NEW MORNING PT AVAILABILITY
Tuesday & Thursday at 9:30am have become available.
These are perfect times for parents who have dropped the kids off at school and want to take a little bit of time to work on themselves.
No rushing to fit training into an already busy evening, just drop the kids off, get your training done and get on with the rest of your day.
These sessions can be used for one to one training, or why not grab a friend or two and get fit together.
Whether you want to get stronger, improve your fitness, lose some body fat or simply get into a good routine, your training will be built around you, your goals and where you're starting from.
You don't need to already be fit or confident in the gym, that's what I'm here to help with.
I'm putting together an introductory offer for these new Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am spaces.
If you've been thinking about getting started but aren't sure if it's for you, message me to arrange a free consultation.
We can have a chat about where you're at, what you'd like to achieve and see whether we are a good fit to work together.
Any questions feel free to fire away, Kyle

EFW CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 📷
Next up we have Sam, he works hard and is a father of 2 boys, I'll let him answer the questions for you now.
1. What made you start your fitness journey?
Honestly, my wife signed me up to work with Kyle and I “unwittingly” just turned up! 😂 The truth is, though, there was something inside me that was unhappy with both my physical and mental health. I knew I needed to make a change, even if I didn’t quite know how. I’m so glad I turned up, to say the least!
2. What’s the biggest change you’ve noticed since starting?
Apart from losing two stone and gaining a lot of physical strength, I’ve developed discipline and, probably more importantly, gained a lot of mental strength. Training has changed much more than just how I look.
3. What are you most proud of so far?
Without a doubt, maintaining consistency. I’ve trained 2–3 times a week at 6am for over a year now. The old me wouldn’t have believed I could stick to something like that, never mind actually enjoy it!
4. What’s something you can do now that you couldn’t before?
I can keep up with my two young boys, who have absolutely endless energy! They love rough-and-tumble play, and being able to join in without feeling completely exhausted is something I really value.
5. What have you learned about yourself through training?
I’ve realised that I actually can stick to a healthy lifestyle and get results. I never thought I was “that kind of person” before. Training has shown me that I’m capable of being consistent and disciplined when I put my mind to something.
6. What would you say to someone who’s nervous about getting started?
The hardest part of training is turning up. Just turn up. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start, once you take that first step, the next ones become much easier. The stepping stones will appear.

Event number 2 done and dusted 🙏
East Antrim Marathon Series Half Marathon 🏃
After 4 hours on the ergs through the night, it was straight into the half marathon this morning.
I actually felt alright for the first part, but around mile 9 my calf started giving me serious grief.
From there it was just a case of putting the head down, and suffering through those last few miles to the finish.
1:45:59 in the end, and after everything I’ve put my body through over the last two weekends, I think I might have finally found my limit 😂
I’m broken, and sore, but thankful for being able to the do things I do 🙏
The best part was approaching the finish line and seeing my family standing there waiting for me ❤️
Just having them there supporting me through all this madness I do, means the world to me 🥰
But above everything, I give thanks to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to keep going, and for delivering me safely through it all
A very sore body, but a grateful heart, and now its time to recover properly 💪

4 HOURS DONE ✅
2am–6am on the ergs, all in support of Air Ambulance Northern Ireland 🚁❤️
Definitely not the easiest way to spend the early hours of a Saturday morning 😂 but when it’s for a cause like this, you just get the head down and get it done.
The event will be going on to 4pm today so there's still time to throw a few quid in. Every pound raised goes towards helping Air Ambulance NI continue the incredible, lifesaving work they do.
Tired, and a tad sore but the jobs done
Now, onto the half marathon, 8am start 🏃

EFW CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 💙
Over the next few weeks, I want to give you the chance to hear from some of the people who make EFW what it is.
First up is Lynsey.
Rather than me telling you about her journey, I thought it would mean a lot more to hear it in her own words.
1.What made you start your fitness journey?
After losing my husband, I became the only person my children could rely on to be their provider, nurturer and everything else that comes with being a sole parent. Losing the future I thought I was going to have changed me mentally, emotionally and physically.
I realised I was constantly putting everyone else before myself, and that I couldn’t be the best version of myself for my girls if I wasn’t looking after me too. So, I decided to join the gym. Partly to help me mentally, but also to keep myself fit, strong and active so I can be there for my girls and look after them as best I can.
2.What’s the biggest change you’ve noticed since starting?
My physical strength has improved, I have more energy and I’ve made some great new friendships. But the biggest change has probably been mentally. I feel stronger and more capable of facing the tough challenges life throws at me.
3.What are you most proud of so far?
Getting out of bed in the mornings and heading to the gym before work! Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my bed! 😂
But honestly, I’m proud that I’ve made it part of my routine and that I keep showing up, even on the days when I don’t feel like it.
4.What’s something you can do now that you couldn’t before?
I can lift heavier, push myself further and do exercises that I would have struggled with when I first started. But more importantly, I can push through when something feels difficult rather than giving up. I’ve realised that I’m capable of much more than I thought I was.
5.What have you learned about yourself through training?
I’ve learned that I actually enjoy training! 😂
I’ve also learned that I can do anything if I stay consistent and persevere, even when things get difficult. Training has taught me that progress doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from simply showing up and not giving up.
6.What would you say to someone who’s nervous about getting started?
Dont over think it - just do it!
I often think about those who were taken from us far too soon and no longer have the opportunity to get up, move their bodies and live life. That reminds me that I have no excuse not to make the most of the opportunity I’ve been given. I want to be healthy, strong and active, and to do it for myself, my girls and for those who no longer have that choice.
You don’t have to be fit to start, and you don’t have to know exactly what you’re doing. Just take that first step. ❤️

When the photos are up, the medals are through in the drawer, and the adrenaline has worn off.
Everyone has said there bit, either “well done" or "your not wise" etc
And now comes the part nobody posts about
We’re walking down the stairs sideways, sitting on the toilet has become a calculated risk, and if we drop something on the floor, well it lives there now 🤣
The unspoken suffering of DOMS after a big event, that suffering we have to endure, as if tie events themselves aren't enough 🙈
Yet give us a few days, and we are back trigger happy, somehow convincing ourselves its great craic to sign up for another one.
We’re a strange breed 😜

Sunday nights always have me thinking on my life 💙 am I the only one who does this lol?
To some people, this probably just looks like me running around doing stupid stuff.
But to me, it’s so much more than that.
Every bit of blood, sweat and tears over the years, has helped craft me into the person I am today.
This isn’t just something I do, and it’s definitely not something I take lightly, this is my life.
My training, my thoughts, my sleep, my nutrition, everything points towards being able to perform to the best of my ability, and to get the most out of myself.
But even more than performance, it’s about having the ability to switch on when it matters.
To face whatever task is put in front of me and get it done, regardless of how my mind feels, how my body feels, or how badly I want to stop.
I’m not the fastest, nor am I the strongest man around, but you can bet your ass that whatever I take on, I’ll be hanging on in there for dear life until the very end.
I don’t train because it’s easy, I train because doing hard things has changed me.
The medals and finish lines are just the visible part.
The person being built through it all is what really matters.
And the beautiful thing about it is, you have the potential to do whatever you want to do also.
You may not want to do the same things I do, but whatever it is you fancy you have the ability to do it, ya just have to make the decision and stick to it.
