Girls’ Football – FREE Sessions!

We’re welcoming girls from Rec–Yr 3 (as of Sept) to join our fun, friendly girls‑only Monday sessions.

Mini Spitfires – New for July!

Launching this July, our Mini Spitfires group is open to children in Yr 1/Yr 2 (as of Sept).

A massive well done to Elias, from our U7s who has officially joined the Birmingham City Academy.

Elias had the chance to celebrate by playing his first match on the pitch at St Andrews recently, meeting some of the players and putting in a great performance

💜 NEW Minis Group Launch! 💜

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Upper Lighthorne Mini Spitfires — a brand‑new football group for children in Year 1 & Year 2 ⚽

These fun, friendly sessions are all about helping young players learn the basics, build confidence, make new friends, and fall in love with the game!

🌟 First session is FREE!
After that, it’s just £3 per week, pay‑as‑you‑go — so you only pay for the sessions you attend.

📅 Launch date: Monday 5 July
🕔 Time: 5 – 6 pm
📍 Venue: Lighthorne Heath Sports Field, Marston Avenue, CV33 9UA

Did you know we run a completely free Girls Only session? Our Upper Lighthorne Valiants are welcoming girls to join our fun, friendly sessions — no experience needed!

We focus on the FUNdamentals (see what we did there 😉) and making sure every girl enjoys the start of her football journey.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes sorting player registrations for next season! With those more done we can confirm the following limited spaces for the 26/27 season in our Spitfires section

⚽ U8s (Year 3 as of Sept) — train Mondays
⚽ U10s (Year 5 as of Sept)
⚽ U13s (Year 8 as of Sept)
⚽ U14s (Year 9 as of Sept)
⚽ U15s (Year 10 as of Sept) — all train Wednesdays

Games are played on Saturday Mornings. Our coaches are FA‑qualified, DBS checked, and First Aid trained.

If your child is new to football or already playing and wants to try something different, why not get in touch. ULFC is a community club where families feel at home and players feel proud to wear the shirt.
