A cracking afternoon of Masters Rugby League yesterday as Morley Knights Masters took on Thornhill Trojans Masters at South Leeds Stadium.

Both sides put on a great display, with plenty of strong carries, big tackles and some quality rugby played in the true spirit of the Masters game. 💪

Most importantly, the game was played in great spirits from start to finish, with plenty of laughs between the two teams along the way.

A massive thank you to Thornhill Trojans Masters for the game, everyone who came down to support us, and a special thank you to Jason for refereeing the game and helping make it all possible. 👏🏉

🏉 Fixture Wanted – July 🏉

Like many Masters teams, we often find ourselves struggling to get a full 13 together. Rather than sitting idle, we’d like to keep ticking over and get a game arranged in July.

We’re looking for another Masters side that may be in a similar position, where a lower-number game could be agreed to make it fair and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Whether that’s reduced numbers, mixed squads, or another format that works for both teams, we’re open to discussion. The main thing is getting a game on, keeping players active, and enjoying some Masters rugby.
