We’ve come a long way over the summer and have really improved as a group. The standards are even higher, and the boys are looking sharper, more confident and more together than ever.

👏⚽️ So close today…

Well done to all the boys! We were really unlucky in the end to lose the final to a very good Garforth side — especially after they thrashed us not so long ago! 😅

Sometimes getting so close makes it even harder to take, particularly when we conceded just one goal all day… in the last minute of the final! 🙈🤣

We’re really proud of all the boys. They battled hard, showed brilliant team spirit, played some really good football and, most importantly, they’re continuing to grow and improve every week💪

Hopefully we can carry that into the new season with a strong start, and keep developing 🔴⚫️

A really impressive performance from the boys today from start to finish. 👏⚽

We played some excellent football, moved the ball really well and created plenty of chances with some brilliant link-up play. There were some fantastic team goals, a few moments of individual quality and some clinical finishing on show.

What was just as pleasing though was the other side of our game. When we needed to match the opposition physically, the boys stood up to the challenge, competed for every ball and never took a backwards step. 💪

Defensively we were outstanding, working hard for each other, great communication, making some crucial tackles and showing great determination to protect our goal.

Another really positive step forward. Plenty to keep working on as always, and we set our standards based on today 💪

Well done, lads! ⚫️🔴

Another session in the bag 💪⚽

The boys started with football, worked through some rugby to challenge their communication and energy levels, before finishing with hill sprints to test their fitness and determination.

I especially like the first picture. Four lads all pushing together, all wanting to win as we asked them to ‘beat the person who finished in front of you last time’, encouraging each other without even realising it and refusing to give in. It’s exactly what we’re trying to build, a group that drives each other to improve, time after time.

Every session is about more than just the game - building stronger, fitter players who are ready to compete together.
